I can't really give specifics because I have been fishing them in a lot of conditions. I try to chose color according to water clarity as you would most baits, bit no luck. Today the water was tea stained slightly with 2-3 feet of visibility so I tried a purple and black skirt with tandem willow blades, alternating retrieve styles. Then moves to chartreuse and red with double colorados. No luck with either. Think it's possible I am just amazing and picking the wrong time to throw them.

Ok, I know spinners catch fish. I know they catch a lot of fish. What I don't know is why I don't catch fish with them. I have tried cast and retrieve I have tried a irregular pattern where I reel I in let it drop, real it in let it drop, I have tried banging them across to bottom, I have tried banging them into all sorts of structure. I have tried chartrues and red, white, black, black and purple, Colorado blades, willow blades, single, tandems. What am I missing? Why am I not having much luck?

Went out to one of my fab spots without any luck today. Decided I would ask all you how would you fish this: I tried weightless senko, cast about 10 feet beyond the weed line deadsticking it in to the weed line, nothing. Tried various cranks coming into weed line and as parallel as I could (was bank fishing) tried spinners, buzz bait, c-rig worm. Basically threw everything I had and nothing. Ideas? This is on the new river in Va, water level at edge of weeds is probably 5 feet or so. Another question, there where a lot ( 5-10 @ around 20-30 inches at best guess) of large carp around the weed line, would that scare the bass away? And if that's is so, how do I catch carp on artificials? Thanks

Looking for recommendations for a tackle box. I need something that stores all of my gear; spinners, cranks, buzz baits, plastics, terminal gear, etc. Wang to store it all in one place easy for me to organize and go through. I typically pull out what I need for the trip (I am a bank fisherman ATM) and put it in some of my smaller bins. Any help would be appreciated. Also as my handle suggests money is a concern, looking for a more inexpensive model.
