man if all braid is workin for you, by all means stick with it. there isnt a norm in fishing, if there was everyone would do the same thing. its ok that it floats, nothin wrong with that. the only thing i dont like about braid is that there is absolutely zero sensitivity when its slack. i use braid and fluoro and love them both. i flip and pitch a lot and use both for that. when im draggin a football jig its all fluoro, i like it more than braid. like i said, if it works for you, stick with it.

if you look hard enough you might be able to find a used dobyns champion series 735c also or just search the online stores and you might come across somethin.

yea sunline has some of the thinnest diameter to pound test lines on the market, its pretty awesome. thats what first drew me to sunline, then i actually used it and was just beyond stoked on it. to this day i have never had an issue, not one unlike when i used seaguar.... problems most the time.

awesome, thank you very much for your input. im heading to bps this weekend and plan on spendin some cash on the pq and fluor as well as some baits i cant find around my area. what do you think of the bps rods? ive never used a bps product and just love tryin stuff because who knows, it might surprise me and i might stick with it.

50lb power pro would be just fine. my preference though, sunline fx2 braid.

ive used a bunch lol id have to say powell with dobyns comin in a close second.

powell max 735 frog rod. also an amazing jig/flippin/pitchin rod. as for a reel, id say go with a lews speed spool or from the good things i hear, a bps pro qualifier.

never heard of dragon call. yea man sniper is legit. havent used reaction yet. dude the fx2 braid is just..... hmmm.... ridiculous!! amazing!! stuff. imo, the best braid on the market.

lol awesome, thanks diggy. ive always been curious about both. im a lews and sunline user but figured hey, why not at least check out a pq and some xps fluoro since theyre both on sale right now. i figured if theyre good enough for edwin evers to use on the elite series tour as well as in the classic, they must hold their own just fine.

forget to mention that ive checked the wiring and its all hooked up correctly but still does what it does.

i have a 9 1/2ft basshunter (green, 2 man boat) and a minn kota endura 50lb thrust motor. question being, why on my motor is reverse forward and forward reverse. ive tried it on the front and back of the boat and same thing. any help is greatly appreciated.
