Caught a Smallmouth in 1973 at a low head dam. Then started getting Fishing Facts Magazine and it started. Been ate up with it ever since. My Buddy’s pop was a River rat. Passed it down to a lot of us. Had a million dollars worth of fun the past 52 years . Love it

Love Rivers , Love Smallies , Love Wading . That’s a win winBerkley Trylene xl 12I don’t know if they still make them but Ledge Buster Spinnerbait made some up to 2 ounces .Lews Hank Parker rod. Pretty decent for the money3/16 with a uv craw or small swimbait .Throw them a lot , Especially now through fall7 ft 6 mxf spinning rod with 8 lb mono. I tried Braid but our rocky rivers tore it up .I know for a fact KVD new spinning line for Lews is made by him in Michigan, At Least that’s what I heard from a guy who’s cousin mows his lawn
