Fantasy Fishing 2025

The time has come for the 2025 Fantasy Fishing season to begin. For those unfamiliar, we have been doing this for a few years now as a fun way to compete and have a little fun among all our members. Do you think you have what it takes to take home 1st place for the season?

Group Name: BassResource

We encourage all members to play along. Just pick your anglers prior to each BASS Elite event and share them (or don't) with the group. It's all part of the fun!

Figure I better brag before I start an ugly streak of 800pt derbies 😆   Ironic that my favorite angler was the only pick not in the top 10.  Oh well, still love ya Johnny.

  • Met Brandon Cobb at the event yesterday and I wanted so bad to tell him he screwed me over on my fantasy team and I was never going to pick him again but I sucked it up and took a pic with him when he

I believe this is now the 8th year I've ran the official BassResource fantasy league. Seems crazy that this has been going on this long now.

I was bummed because last year I missed an event. Didn’t realized they were so close in time.

Unfortunately they do stack the events on back to back weekends a few times a year. My suggestion is to click the green "Following" button at the top of this thread and set it to notifications every time a new post is made in here. Myself (and others) usually try to post reminders whenever there is a quick turn around in events.

To me, Fantasy Fishing 2025 means it’s too cold out or waters are solid!

Even if you miss an event, you can still win prizes if you finish high enough during individual events. I’ve missed one before too and it kinda screwed my season total.

Who do you guys think is the most rounded Elite fisherman? Who do you pick for angler of the year? I'm picking Patrick Walters as angler of the year.

I think Trey McKinney will win AOY.    If he doesn't win, I think Easton Fothergill will win.

Nobody over the age of 30 will win regardless imho.

The only thing that can defeat a massive time on water advantage, let alone the FFS advantage that the kids have is luck imho.

The NPFL roster is absolutely stacked, I can't wait to see the old legends vs new legends compete in traditional Bass fishing.

This guy is from my neck of the woods and he's legit, so I'm pulling for him.

That being said, I don't have a lot of interest in the Elites anymore.  But I'll fill out a fantasy roster each time so I have a shot at prizes.

Agreed.   The last event of the year at the SLR pretty much killed all enthusiasm for the Elite Series.

As long as the Johnstons are on the Elites, I'll keep looking for a better product.   I have extremely high hopes for the NPFL.   I'll still play fantasy though because it's a ton of fun.

It’s not accepting my login/password combination. I clicked on forgot password three times and there’s no communication on it. Any thoughts on this?

Maybe try contacting Bassmaster?? Or just create a new login with a different email address?

When I click on “contact us” at the bottom it’s only for subscription help.

Seems like kind of a Mickey Mouse operation going on here. Can’t get password or login help, can’t contact anyone either.
