Here we go 

We are underway at Hartwell. Jay Przekurat is off to a hot start with 16.5 pounds already. 

I did pretty good after day 1.  1266 points, all 5 anglers in the top 34.

Cobb ruined my chances of scoring well. Story of my life. My other 4 are in the top 20 with Howell in the top 5.

Same here three in the top 10. The other at 15.

Well I have 2 fishing today and the way it’s been going that’s not half bad 

Looking at the group results, it seems a bunch of you guys had really great events, congrats!   

 

One thing I'm learning is that you should never go against your gut, the first pick is usually your best pick.      Kicking myself for pulling Welsey Gore for Hackney, and I let Hackney's NPFL win cloud my judgement.    Guys like Cox, Hackney, Christie, and even Walters screw me vastly more than they help me.   At some point I'll learn lol.  

 

Mckinney is like the cheat code of fantasy fishing, so is Hamner.    You don't fully realize or appreciate the consistency of certain anglers until you play fantasy fishing.    Jay P is another one of those guys but I've never picked him a single time......he's just too boring for me, but man can he fish.

Shout out to the first time winner Paul Marks for taking the W at Hartwell. It really looked like it was Randy Howells to win, but Paul came storming in and took what was his.

Met Brandon Cobb at the event yesterday and I wanted so bad to tell him he screwed me over on my fantasy team and I was never going to pick him again but I sucked it up and took a pic with him when he asked for my autograph anyways!

He is one of my favorites. Him and John Cox. You should have said he owes some tackle 😂Great pic 

Ended up with 1191 at Hartwell everyone I picked except Livesay finished top 25. I really thought he would be a top 15 contender.

Did you ask him if he owns any hats besides that old red Zoom one? I swear that mans been wearing the same hat at every event for the past 5 years.

I pick him regularly because he's from my neighboring state to the east.  Most of the time I fill my roster out with anglers from MN and WI, if I'm able to.
