We had a 12" to 18 " tall grass on the bay bottom for decades. More fish of all types provided food for ALL BIG fish. When that grass disappeared. So did almost all fish. Oh well

I almost ripped the head off of a Snorkel diver in the ST. Lawrence River in the main shipping channel. Idiot pops up right in front of me. I instantly yank the wheel hard left at just under 30 mph. I am slammed against the hull side. AAAGGGHHH I am hurting a lot on my right side. I slow way down & recover. Go back where I thought I had hit him. He pops back up AGAIN. I motor over & he starts yelling I almost killed him. I yell back he has to have a floating diver in the water flag to warn boats to stay away. I call ALL the police & USCG to come & ticket him. They do as he argues with them.

You said it has the same pronlem if engine is speeded up in Neutral. So there is a problem with the unit itself. The installers NEVER CHECKED their work...........They need to repair or replace the problem. Get a good mechanic.

If it does not work in Neutral ? THe F F is a reject. There is NO NO NO problem with bracket, angle or anything else. Take it back to who bought & installed the F F. The F F is either a reject. Or there is a very loose connection somewhere.

My 30 hp in the 16' open Aluminum Is fine on plane for a 7 mile area to fish. But the fish count is so low. I will be trailering to other areas. Adjust or quit.

Speeding at WOT has nothing to do with catching more & bigger bass. Catching bass in lake Ontario has proven that for years. I C U has unlimited visiting hours.

Some companies & Tech Support WILL repair a out of warranty......IF It is a known problem. Been there more than 1 time. A call is cheap to the factory. Get lucky.

Then it is a bad unit OR installation. They never did test run the boat and F F. Have them find a repair............. NOT you.

Is this a new or used boat that the dealer installed the everything on ? The above idle problem. In Neutral & Drive ? Everything looks brand new. Have the dealer make good on the problem & get your money back on that Jonny Ray bracket. I think some mechanic left a completely loose connection in your boat. Take it back . Tell them to fix it. No more money.
