I was just kidding about the carp thing. The cards win again today with a homer in the 9th by Chris Duncan. 3 to 2 over the Pirates to complete the sweep. Wainwright pitched good today. I am not worried about the season. If anything, we may need hitting more than pitching. Albert hasnt even gotten going yet. It should be a good series coming up against who i believe is the second best team in the division, the Brewers.

Cards pull it out in 12 innings. Back to .500 baby!!! And the new guys pitched great!!! Who needs Carpenter!!!!

Dido. I used to pour my own and use knockoffs but they just dont catch me as many fish as GYCB. I dont mine paying more for more and bigger fish. For people like myself who might not be as skilled of anglers as LBH or RW, I think the quality of the lure you are using becomes more important. When my friends in my boat want to use my senkos, I give them a tiki stick or a yum dinger. I always outfish them. I know that isnt all the worm (some skill) but i believe some of it is.

Wow. Looper was very impressive today. He threw seven scoreless innings, ryan franklin threw one scoreless, and Izzy got the save without allowing a baserunner. Shutting out the hot pirates is pretty good. The Carp news doesnt sound to great but overall, the cards pitching staff looks pretty decent. The only starter that has allowed more than 3ER in a game is Carpenter. Wainwright pitched great, Looper great, Wells amazing, and Reyes decent. Who needs Carpenter anyways?

Yeah Burgos can be great. Last year he blew 12 of 30 saves. Those are Jason Isringhausen numbers right there.

35 degrees, windy, freezing, lost 11-1 and i had a great time. The game was close till the 6th, then the mets got the bats going and the braves put their gloves away. Reyes was sick with 2 triples and i think 4RBIs and 2 runs. The game was standing room only but there were a good number of seats left. We sat in the upper deck past 3rd base. In the 7th inning my friends and i moved down to 10 rows behind the braves dugout. Then we moved 3 rows behind the dugout. Then we moved to the front row behind the braves dugout. That was about the 8th inning. You know that a** hole that is always behind the dugout that you can see when they show the hitter on his cell phone talking to his buddy saying "Am I on tv? Im waving. Can you see me? You can! What am I doing now? Still waving! I am on TV!" Well tonight i can proudly say that a** hole was me. My dad recorded the game and when they show left handed batters in the 8th and 9th inning, you can see me. I was easy to find since for some crazy reason I was the only person wearing a Cardinals World series champs shirt, sweatshirt and hat. Needless to say, no mets fans made any comments about it. My friend ended up getting a ball tossed up by one of the coaches. Even though it wasnt a great game or conditions, i still had a great time.

Carp is supposed to now pitch on Tuesday. I get to go to the Braves game tonight. I forgot they are playing the Mets.

In those first three games, it looks like the cards picked up right where they left off at the end of the regular season. They just cant hit and pitching has been up and down. That was how it was in those two 8 game losing streaks last year. I do have to give some credit to the mets pitching staff because it wasnt all the cardinals lack of hitting. These pitchers are tough especially at the beginning of the year when no one is into the swing of things yet.

Holla! This is my spring break and the fishing and weather was great at the beginning of the week and i was planning on doing a bunch of bed fishing this weekend but now i have no idea since the highs are going to be in the 50s instead of lower 80s upper 70s.

Yeah I have read that Pro Fishing is the best fishing game on xbox. I would definitely buy it if they backdated it. I just think it would be so sweet to have a game where you could do xbox live fishing tournaments with friends or fellow bassresourcers.

Nice fish Randall. I went to Kedron today without a lot of luck and Horton yesterday also not that great. I havent seen any big bass on beds yet at either lake and only a couple males. Monday was the best day though my friend caught a 9lber at Kedron. My neighbor went crappie fishing at Horton on Monday and said it was great. He and his son caught about 50. It's good to see some lunkers out of horton. When do you think the females will begin to come onto beds. I got a bet with a friend that I will catch a 6lber or better this week over spring break so i need to get to work. I think im going to either horton or Kedron on saturday for my last shot. :-[

A fishing video game has the potential to be great. It would be best if it were an only bass game that had just about every lure cranks, soft plastics, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, topwater, etc... You could start out like as a angler trying to make the BASS tour then your career grows form there. There should be strategy involved other than just location like presentation, weather conditions, etc... Or instead of having a career you could go out and fish as Ike, KVD, Skeet, and the others against each other. HOw awesome would that be to have an Xbox live fishing tournament with your friends.

I have it for psp and had it for ps2. I did not like it. Hopefully they have done some changes though for the 360 version. If they have and it is good then i might buy it. Otherwise, Guitar Hero!!!

My dad got a new 65in. lcd tv so we can watch the Cards and Mets in HD. It is sweet. I am ready for some baseball. This week is gonna be spring break for me so me and a couple friends are going to the braves home opener next friday. Lets go already!!! (nice David Wright jersey muddy in the video)

You definitely will outcatch your friends with that mindset. Thats how you gotta think with swimbaits. I get similar comments from my fishing buddies. I hope you catch your giant.

Spring Break just wont get here fast enough. Hopefully I will fish every day at Horton and Kedron. Those are some very nice fish. I sure hope the pollen dies down a little. Congrats on the tourny win!
