  1. Make an invoice on MS Word and throw it in the prepaid envelope. Make the bill for a few bucks and tell them that is what you charge everyone that wastes your time.
  2. Ted, I have a 17' bass tracker with a 50hp and I put a transom saver on it. I pulled it the first time without it and when I would go over bumps the motor would bounce a little. Now that I put it on there, that thing is like a rock. I'm not sure if it was actually doing damage to anything when it would bounce, but I would sure cringe when I would look back there and see it bouncing. Just my opinion.
  3. Welcome to the Forum!!!
  4. Welcome!!!
  5. I would recommend it also, I just got done with it. It give you a whole new perspective about him and what he has gone through. Don't judge him until you read the entire book! All around, its a great read.
  6. I'm gonna guess that a Mercedes key is gonna cost a small fortune. I bet it has a chip in it and is laser cut.
  7. That totally sucks man, but thanks for the heads up.
  8. On average, how many lures do you guys loose each time you go out on the water? For this discussion, lures are all baits, with the exception of soft plastics.
  9. Congrats on the new boat! Post some pics showing your progress when you can.
  10. HAAHAHA That is great!!!
  11. HAHA That is a good one. I get so much junk mail its not even funny. I will be doing that from now on, LOL!!! Maybe I'll put some stupid message in there too, just to be an @$$.
  12. Congrats with all your success!!! Good luck with the boat!
  13. This does work, but it doesn't take effect until 60 days after you sign up. The only down side to this is that compainies will get the people who recently have been added to that list and they will call you more than before until the 60 days run out. Just FYI
  14. I just bought an extreme baitcaster about 2 weeks ago. It seemed like a decent reel. I haven't used it yet. I hope its good, as it is also my first BPS reel.
  15. Welcome!!! This is a great forum with even better people. There are some guys on here that have done some nice builds to their boats that will provide great advice with what works and what doesn't work.
  16. Thanks guys for all the help. I will have do give 'em all a try and see what happens. But it doesn't look like i'll be fishing anytime soon. The high today was like 6 degress!? :'(
  17. I second that, got me first pair and they are unbelievable. I bought them after my oakleys finally broke after I had them for 10 years! If sunglasses are gonna last me that long I have no problem shelling out $100+ for quality shades.
  18. Here is my 17' Bass Tracker with 50hp Merc. It not the best on the eyes but for a college kid I love it. I tow it with a '04 F-150 5.4l
  19. SWEET RIDE!!! :o Congrats on the new boat. Enjoy and be safe!!
  20. I'm have a digital camera and I'm looking for some type of tripod to hold so I can shoot pics and video while fishing. I fishing alone 95% of the time so I don't have anyone able to shoot pics and video for me. I have heard that there is a camera holder/tripod thing that you can put in your back seat post to hold the camera. I have searched the internet and have found nothing. Just wondering if you have heard of this or is there something better that you have suggest. Thanks.
  21. I've got an Accurist and LOVE it. Great reel. Cabelas has them for $64.95 Right now. Its a good buy for that reel. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat20166-cat20331&id=0029872119562a&navCount=1&podId=0029872&parentId=cat20331&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=6IS&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat20331&hasJS=true
  22. I was in the same situation about a week ago. I was looking at the crankin sticks. But, I would recommend that you seriously take a look at the Rick Clunn Signature series rods. They feel so much better and lighter than the crankin stick and are on sale right now for only $59! If you have a chance to feel both in the store, IMO there is no comparison between the two. They have a 7' "crankbait" rod that is MH which might be better for your situation since you are looking to throw mainly deep cranks, but I bought a 6'6" M "drop shot/worm" for my crankbaits (I mostly throw mid to shallow divers). It seems to have about a moderate action for the tip (It doesn't exactly come out and say it). If you are looking for a M then I'd go with the 7' M "drop shot/worm". Here is the link for the page. http://www.basspro.com/servlet/catalog.TextId?hvarTextId=58458&hvarDept=100&hvarEvent=&hvarClassCode=2&hvarSubCode=6&hvarTarget=browse
  23. Yup, I second that. I have a few BPS rods, all great rods for the money.
  24. I've had a Accurist for over 2 years now. Not one problem with it.
