iIs there a new floro with low memory? Halo
ive been useing p-line cxx moss green //// love it .... i use it for senkos and jigs .... the memory is there but not as bad as a flour ... i mainly use the 15lb ... it has been a great line little stretch but not much ... or enough to mess a hook set ... try it ,,, no need for a leader with the p-line cxx ;D

GYCB Kreature
i like rigging this bait with the skirty thing in the back .... the flat side is the front .... this way whenii t-rig my bullet lines up with the front nice .... i also like a glass bead inbetween the bullet and the bait ... this is how i fish it .... i love that bait ;D

Senko rod...
well this question is tricky for me ..... this is the reason .... the senko is a versitile bait and there isnt many wrong answers ,,,, unless you tell us how you fish a senko .... see ive used spinning and casting tackle .... for me ( IMO ) spinning is better for a wacky rig .... that being said ,,, i perfer casting gear when tossin tex rigged weightles senkos ..... reason ,, i like the heavyer lines (15-20lb ) when tex rigging senkos ... as for wacky rigs i prefer spinning ( just like a liter set up) ;D now i did start fishing senkos with a st croix avid med fast 6ft6 spinning rod ,,, i didnt have much trouble .... still i prefer using the 7ft st croix avid med-hev casting rod ... just feel better about it ,, and like a heaver line .... i tend to fish alot of timber ( heavy cover ) mainly so i feel better with the heavyer line ... some like a liter line /// this is where its tricky .... lol .... just depends on how you fish and what you prefer .... at any rate ,,,, fish the senko its a killer bait .....

Chatterbait, what color is better?
i live in green bay wi and fish mainly lakes north of me .... i olny have baught a few colors ( blk-blu , red-wht , and wht-chart ) .... most waters i fish are crystal clear to gin clear ,,, but we do get the green water here and there during the dog days of summer .... any way ive caught 3 bass and 1 pike on the chatter baits all fish where caught on the blk-blu .... again i olny toosed these baits a few times so i may be wrong but IMO get a blk-blu one for sure .... ;D

Rapala DT crankbaits?
ok i was watching a show >>> linders angling edge .... the guys where fishing deep rock ,, using the dts .... they showed how if you felt like the bait was hanging up you could stop your retrieve and give the rod tip completely to the bait ( no preasure on the bait at all ) .... the dt will turn 180 while slowly floating back up .... rapala gave all dts this abilty ,,,, now it wont save every bait but it saved my olny dt a few times ..... once i was getting hung up in a tree ,,, gave the tip to the bait watched the bait float up just a little and slowly swam the bait outta the tree ..... another time she was hanging in some rock same thing .... so just a little heads up ... before you try this i suggest you try it in shallow water where you can see how the bait does this ..... stopp reeling and give the rod tip to the dt ... you will see what im talking about and hopefully save a few TOO.... good luck ,,, and this olny works some times not all the time ;D

your thoughts on Shimano Cardiff
well i dont catch huge bass yet .... ive had 20-22inch bass on .... a few times and sorry to say i lost all but 1 20incher .... i had a drag that was sticking ... so i believe when i was setting the hook i wasnt getting enough preasure to send that hook home .... there for fish where just jumping a few times and getting off .... then at the end of last season i switched the reel out for a new one ,,,, problem solved ... now may be its me but im sweating every time im tossin swimmers ... thinking of the last hoggs that got away .... i should say we also have muskie and pike in most waters here .... and id love to land a hogg pike , muskie ,or bass ... im not picky .... just feel the callcutta may be a better option for me at this point ..... thats all ohh when i say sticking i mean ,,, id button the drag down but the drag would stay stuck wide open so when i was setting the hook a couple times i watched the line spin right off my reel ... thats when i took her back ;D she seems better now but i havent stuck a hogg yet so i relly cant say just yet :'(

New reel decision help me decide
i have a few chronach 101bs and love them they are great reels ..... now this year ill be buyin a few cus .... main reason is if the different speeds offered by the cu .... after holding and tinkering with the new cu ,,, i think the reels are real close to the chronarchs .... but i still would recomened the chronarch ,,, i mean all last season i lived by these reels ....

your thoughts on Shimano Cardiff
yea im not sure what was done to my calcutta 51b ,, as i picked it up in a trade .... but i cant pull any line of this reel when its buttoned down .... now my cardiff 301 is a great reel but i can pull line when it is buttoned down and rather easily .... my main thoughts on this cardiff is that for the price its and outstanding reel ... i have one and dont mind the reel at all ... but as for tossin swimbaits i want a tuff drag ,,, and i dont wanna be able to pull any line at all ..... i lost a few hoggs last year when they started peeling line of my cardiff ,,, whitch led to a few jumps and the fish swam away free ..... for this swimbait tec.. i just want the tuffest drag i can get ..... now for most other tecs, i dont mind the cardiff at all ... in fact id buy a few if i needed a replacment reel .... ;D

PLine CX Premium

Crankbait rod?
well forget loomis ... 1st ,, 2nd look at croix they have the answer
-
your thoughts on Shimano Cardiff
price im mind .... the cardiff is a work horse of a reel .... i have a 301 on my swimbait rod .,..i did have a problem with the drag sticking on and off ... i returned the broken reel,, and now have one that works ... the one with the working drag is words of difference ((( better ))) thats all ... now the main difference in the calcutta and the cardiff is the drags .... i have a calcutta 51 that is much stronger((drag wise)) than my cardiff 301 .... this is the reason ill be getting a calcutta 401 on my next swimbait rod .... ;D
-
Shimano Stella 2500FB
i had a 2500 fb.... and dont wory ... the drag is the sweetest feature on this reel ..... i mean that drag is silky smooth ... also more steady preasured than any other drag i ever fished with ... IMO ;D

Here's the Shaky Head Scenario...
if i where you ..... i would keep a spinning rod and a shakey worm rigged .... every time i saw a open area where i could pitch that shakey worm i would .... id stay with the lite flour line and id just toss that bait everywhere i could ..... now anytime you fish a lite line you are running the risk of loosing the bass .... this is true ..... but this shakey worm tatic is made for lite line and a lite spinning rod ..... now could you toss this bait on a caster with 15lb test ,,,,, YES ..... but this shakey worm has a place and time like every other bait in your boxx ..... id look for sandy banks or even more open banks .... man every where i saw an opning id toss that thing ..... now one thing to keep in mind ,,,if your a tourney guy ..... Is the placment of certin baits at certin places /// that in mind i think if you are fishing timber and need a slow stelthy bait ..... i look to a jig,, every time mainly in timber or laydowns ..... reason is i like a jig on a stout line ( 15-20lb flour or co-poly ) ..... just try it out eighter way .... see what works for you .... this shaky head worm thing IMO is for when you want to spoon feed a fish that isnt hungry ..... great bait ,,, but there are tons of great baits and they all have a time and place ...... also i do believe the lite line will get more bites when fish are moody ..... this is just IMO again ,,,try this bait eighter way or bolth .... let us know how you do and how you like this tatic ..... the main thing here is how you fish this bait .... ;D
