Flouro ????????????
Ive used a lot of different brands of fluoro. Shooter hands down has the least stretch and is the most sensitive line ive used for jigs and plastics. Ive only used 20 and 17#. Its got some sticker shock for a price tag but i think its worth it.

Phone Upgrade
I'm uscellular as well. I got the Iphone 5 free /w belief points earlier this year. Pictures/video are amazing. Screen size is kinda small but it doesn't bother me. Iphone's are also a little heavier than you would think for a phone their size. Smartphones can't take a beating. Get a good case and don't be cheap /w it. I went /w some army grade otterbox that I can't remember the name of but it's black and isn't very bulky.

D&m Discontinuing Bladed Swim Jigs?
Zman owns the design rights to a bent blade connected directly to the jig head (I believe this is right, could be a little more to it, maybe not.). Bladed jigs /w a flat blade and a split ring connected to the iig head aren't considered copyright infringements. The strike king rage blade is a completely different design all together. their other chatterbait is the same as most others. split ring connected to blade Phenix chatterbaits aren't in production and are very hard to come by. Fat sack, Karu lures, etc all the like have the split ring connected to the blade which is not copy right infringement

St Croix Mojo Bass Broken
http://stcroixrods.com/service-warranty/service-warranty-policies/ It's going to cost you 20$ shipping to ship them the rod and they will charge you 20$ to ship the rod back and you'll get a brand new one if you use their warranty program. The other option is just to go back to BPS and see what they say.

Rod Help Wanted
I think what he's getting at is, for instance, in the Dobyns line up, theres the champ 765 fiip that is labeled as a MH rod (the regular casting rods in the dobyns line up that are MH are the 3 power.). Dobyns breaks up their rods into the different categories. within the FLIP line up, the 765 is the "MH" of the FLIP bunch. If you were to put this rod along /w the rest of their rods in one group of casting rods, it would be a Mag heavy. There is also no universal industry standard on rod powers so handling them is really the only true way to get a grasp on its capabilities. Simply going by line/lure rating is okay but some rods perform better towards the top and some towards the middle.

Chatterbait
Do you have any experience of using a football head instead of the alien/swimjig style head? I've never used the head you built that one on but I'm curious the difference of using that head vs the football head /w the splint ring so it hits the sides of the head. I'm a big fan of the blade hitting the head but it takes a while to "break" the bait in. Does your head come through grass easier? I've found that the head I use is incredible around rock(obviously) and wood but could be improved around grass.

Difference Between Fluoro And Mono For Casting Distance
Ive never looked into that or heard it. The most ive ever heard of braid stretching is 3%. If the numbers you say is true then what they/you are saying is rhe line has the stretch equivalent of xps fluoro or more stretch than shooter. Not buying that. Ive used both suffix performance braid and 832. That is far from correct.

Difference Between Fluoro And Mono For Casting Distance
There are definitely braided lines with stretch that caps at around 2-3% if that. Esentially no stretch

Difference Between Fluoro And Mono For Casting Distance
I Think you missed what i was saying at the end. "without" I was just describing mono

Difference Between Fluoro And Mono For Casting Distance
I am a huge advocat of fluorocarbon and use it for everything i can but there is absolutley no way nylon line is going away. It will never be a thing of the past...unless somebody creates a floating line without zero stretch.....

Cast Net Newbie
Youtube the correct procedure. It's impossible to explain without showing you. There's a very specific way to throw a Castnet so you can effectively open it like an umbrella when it hits the water. After that it's all practice practice practice practice practice. It can be a very very frustrating learning process so don't give up on it.

Keitech Fat 3.8

St. Croix Avid 6'8" M Xf
Indeed. I really like the XF tips. They are so responsive and load up into the blank into solid backbone. Aprw, I'm pretty sure you're Afryedknot on other forums and you've used a few high end rods. I'm not sure if you've used the NRX line at all but for comparison sake to St. Croix, the St. croixs have a little more backbone than the NRX counterpart(same can be said for the GLX). For example, the 822 syr would probably be a solid counterpart to the xtreme 69mlxf. both rods respectively have a fairly quick, XF action tip. The difference between the two is the NRX loads more throughout the entire blank where the xtreme (avid pretty much does the same thing) shuts off much quicker and goes into the backbone earlier. the 822 dsr has probably the same XF tip but shuts off further down the blank.
