No experience /w anything Ardent Reel related but there's only a 20$ difference between the two so after discount, I'd opt for the C-Force just for the little weight savings and cool color to be honest. C-force is still on pre-order to anything on it will be limited at best.

In my experience, Cabelas Guidewear is the way to go. I've also never had an issue. Pricey, but great stuff.

I've got 1000 Stradic's on my 69mlxf and 68mxf legend xtremes. I've never used a 5'10 spinning rod but I would imagine any non ci4 spinning reel over 2500 in size would be cumbersome. I should say that I do use very small lines on my spinning reels. I use both straight 7# Sunline FC sniper and 10# braid /w 6# leader /w no issues. I've never had an issue /w line capacity. My reels usually last 1 1/2 -2 years w/o a respool but if you are the type to use straight 8#+ fluoro that isn't Tatsu or 20#+ braid on a spinning reel, I would opt for the 2500 size.

you're over thinking this. I can skip lures /w no issue and quite a distance /w a 1000 size shimano. Pick the size that balances best /w your rod and/or feels better in hand.

I'm going to assume when you say "one way bearing" you are talking about the AR bearing. The Pinion gear does not sit in this bearing....The drive shaft does. The spool goes into the pinion gear and not AR bearing.

Sounds like you need to use the correct rod for the bait or work on your casting. I throw squarebills and lipless baits on 15-20# fluoro all year. It also depends on what you consider what a "light" crankbait is. Most reels will throw down to a 1/4oz crankbait /w no issues at all if you are using the correct rod.

Everything being used is in Planos in the boat. Spares and extras are left in their packaging and put on a pegboard in the man cave. Pegboard is far and away the most simple solution to avoiding lots of clutter. If your garage has a lot of sunlight, buy some "blackout curtins" that cut out sunlight.

Just got my 3rd TW order. Big Sunline fan but the Tatsu couldn't be passed up! Picked up some tube hooks, BB crickets, Ish frogs, worms and some more Menace Grubs. Big fan of the Rage Menace but disappointed /w the color mix up on TW. Ordered some "Glacier" colored Menace Grubs thinking they would be pearl white /w gold flake. Glacier is actually, at least mine are, more of a translucent/opaque white /w blue flake. I'm sure they will still work great but I am really bummed that they aren't white /w gold flake. White /w gold tinsel is a swim jig staple around here.

Their offensive line and run game was worse pre Lacy and their offense was flourishing /w Jordy in their WR core. Their O line isn't great but it isn't the sole issue. Their WR's just can't get open, Adams isn't fast enough to be a deep thread and Cobb ins't a good #1 receiver healthy or not.

The pinon will have some play with the spool out. Is your cent brake knob loose...? Are the shims inside missing? forward and back (up and down) movement with thumb pressure would inducate a drag issue. Left and right(side to side) would mean there is play thag can come from a couple places. Generally when a spool has side to side play the brake knob is loose. Did you lose the shims? There can also be an issue with the seating of the pinion gear. The "one way bearing" would be the anti reverse bearing and has no bearing in spool play as the drive shaft goes through that. The pinion is encompased by a bearing located under the clutch. Which one is your issue?

7'3+ heavy action rod and 20# fluoro. Braid has poor abrasion resistance. If you are one of the braid + leader types, then add a fluorocarbon leader to your braid mainline.
