Lol yeah I thought I had a nice solid fish then I saw one at the surface and said "that is smaller than what it feels like", they really didn't fight, about half way back they I saw both and was like "really? That is crazy!"
  2. Buying a home is easier said then done. I am in a similar situation Raider, I did a shortsale due to work. Trying to buy, currently renting. The market is crazy, the banks are crazy. All I have to say is good luck Raider I know what you mean.

Got a lipless crank from my buddy Jigfishn10, dunno if you been following his build, so tested it out yesterday and today. Well works great! So good in fact two fish liked it on the same cast. Who needs the A-rig LOL Sorry for the blurry pics trying to get pics and them back in the water quickly. It was my only hook up in about 20 minutes, yesterday I got 3 ranging in size from a glorified bluegill to 15" in about 35 minutes which isn't bad in the hot sunny summer. Really liking this bait! Big thanks to him for hooking me up!
  4. Yeah man right next to it
  5. Flea market in daytona has a rediculous pond, looks like lunker heaven, but it is on a farm and doubt you can fish it. Peacocks ain't north of miami, too cold up here.
  6. Go really big or really small with bait size, go super slow on the retrieve and usually deepest part of you water body, shaded areas, culverts. This time of year you have 2 choices as far as targeting bass goes, lots of small ones or a bigger fish or two.
  7. So where in LV do you fish. When I lived there I didn't fish, just curious if any of the golf course ponds or desert shores have fish or you go to lake mead? I recently saw Tule Springs but didn't ever hear of it when I lived out there is it new?
  8. I can walk across the street and catch bluegills, closest pond with bass in the 4 pound plus range is maybe 2 minutes driving with a 5 minute walk. Fatherest I go is about 20 minutes.
  9. Heck yeah I would want him on my other team, the O's, with the O's bats he would be 11-2. Look at jason hammel with a 5 era and 7 runs per game in support has 3 times as many wins as ol king cole. He, cole, has had a bad start for every 3 good ones( I know this he is on my fantasy team lol yesterday wasn't his best) and I agree he is a number 2 or solid 3Deffinitely not a bum....a bum is Tim lincecum or Roy Halladay lol
  10. They had the last time I was there 10.5 in the watermelon/red and junebug. They don't keep the website up to date that much and only put a small amount of what they have in store
  11. Weeds are getting big now and topwater depending on pond can be pretty slow. Weightless worms/flukes close to shore, big worms Texas rigged casting further out. Creatures baits to cover. everything fished slow. It is a tougher time of year. Hang in there come sept, oct and nov you will have a lot more action as they fatten up for winter and cooler temps. Weeds will also thin out during the winter it because of water level drop and colder temps.
  12. Strike Zone on Beach blvd sells the mightee worms. They also sell bitters and I will tell you 2 packs for 5 bucks you never buy senko or dingers again. Then u get on their mailing list for tent sales too.
  13. Go down to Gander get you a *** or one of their GSX rods.
  14. They are all over now, shrimp'n season is on. The black tips follow the shrimp boats around here. But on of my only times out surf fishing we were out waist deep and 10' away there was a black tip. These are the juviniles that you see near shore. You ever fish from the beach for them?
  15. Umh yeah that one. Waiting til the leaves drop and hopefully once I can see it there will be a rescue.
  16. Nice!...See what I mean it is pretty veristile that is what I like the most about them.
  17. Victorino was old, but Pence was young, semi proven with a few good years under his belt. It would have been awesome to have kept him. I was ticked they didn't to be honest. Ben Revere is a joke, he can swipe a bag but just doesn't hit well. Hopefully over time he can blossom into a Carlos Gomez type player with more than one tool, granted the power may never show up in Revere but hey atleast hit and score would be nice.
  18. I second the durability, even the appendages stay on pretty well......Jika rig now why didnt I think of that. I am gonna have to try that myself.
  19. Looks like a mirrolure, not sure of exact model..sir snook would know for sure
  20. Johnson on the O's had a period like this earlier, Paplbon will be ok. But when will players learn when they call out a team mates it is Murphy's law they will implode.
  21. I do that or I just reel very quickly for a few second then kill it kinda like a mud bug scurrying along the bottom then stopping.
  22. Yeah that is exactly how I fished them. I wanna try heavier weight and no antenaes. There are a lot of options with these to play around with, like rigging, bait modification and retrieve speed/style All they had at dicks was watermelon and junebug when I went.
  23. Got them a few months back in watermelon seed. Like them a lot. How do you rig them I only fished them on a light Texas rig. They are nice and thick, would think good for flipping/punching, jig trailer. Haven't fished them without the antenna on, have you? I wanna do that and try some other colors. This summer lul might be a good time to try it.
  24. So how do you hunt them with a bow...In a tree stand or a blind and bait them in? Can't imagine you be face to face with that 200 pound of bacon charging and all you got is 1 shot with a bow, you better be M-Fing Robin Hood or your gonna get tusks son. lol....Bows do sound interesting now that you guys talk about it. Never cared much about it, but the whole arrow flying in the air, accuracy, challenge thing is intriguing. Glad I stummbled on this thread.
