  1. I call it for later on tonight, early tomorrow morning!!! I guess that means I WIN!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  2. I wouldn't doubt that the Chris Benoit incident was real. I was just saying that there's been debates over Mr. McMahon's "death". Which really I don't care about McMahon because almost everyone in the industry hated him anyway. But a lot of people had respect for Benoit. it stinks none-the-less that Benoit is dead. I enjoyed watching him wrestle, I was saying the entire wrestling stunts are fake (matches, etc.) I know things like this are real. God bless Chris Benoit and Family! 8-)
  3. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Very funny Avid. I almost fell out my chair after reading that! Lemme guess the GPS coordinates are accurate up to 10 millimeters? ;D ;D ;D

Barlow's molds are within the $8-$9 range. I would like to make my own mold now that way I can basically copy a currently made mold or I can make my own form. I was originally thinking about a two way mold which has the compressed form inside and I can pour the plastic in the top and form the lure, and then pull the mold apart to reveal a 3-D lure. That's what I was originally going to do with the clay if I can figure out if it will work or not.
  9. don't know what happened to 12 but now we are at 11

this country is starting to get overpopulated anyway (mainly with illegal aliens). I agree with that concept fletchero!
  12. You know the McMahon thing was fake and this is real, right? :-? there have been debates about this, etc. Quite frankly I just don't know and I really don't care lol! ;D The entire world of 'professional wrestling' is fake. I'd perfer UFC. I just heard about these tragedies.
  13. Generally I use a spin-cast for worm fishing and a bait-caster for heavier lures. Which eliminates the chances of backlashing when fishing worms on a bait-caster and I never need to worry about backlashes on a spinning reel (I just need to watch for line twist... :)
  14. Yeah it is certainly an upset, he was always my fav. wrestler. A couple of weeks ago another "Superstar" died. The chairman of wrestling. Mr. Vincent Kennedy McMahon. His limo exploded, which if you watch the video it is an apparent suicide, because before he gets in the limo he hesitates like he knows what is going to happen, and before that he looks at the guys sitting outside watching him go to his limo seems to me like making sure they are paying attention. I don't know what happened to Chris though. I would really doubt he would kill his son and wife. Either this is a murder or bizarre incident. :'(

So in other words, clay wouldn't be a good idea? I would like to have an idea on something cheap but effective. thanks for the replies though guys! 8-)
  16. I am sure everyone on here has made a 'bad cast' or a cast made to a spot where you didn't want it. But have any of you caught bass in these spots that you didn't want to cast to? Such as you try to cast to the bank but the lure gets snagged in a tree and you pull it out, it plops in the water 10 feet from the boat and you think nothing will hit it. You start reeling in your bait to cast again and then BAM! I've had this happen before. I was fishing with my brother in law on Lake Orange (local lake here in Virginia) and I went to cast my wacky rigged ZOOM Finesse worm out and it hit the side of the boat and landed in the water 10 feet from me. I started to reel it in (getting the slack out) and all of a sudden WHAM! a 1.5 pounder grabbed it and ran. Another scenario (same day) we were fishing the banks and there was some overhanging bushes, I went to skip a YUM Dinger up under the bush when the bait hit the water and jumped into the bush. I shook it out gently and it plopped into the water 10 feet from the bush. Started reeling it in (the bait was skimming across the surface) when SPLASH! A 2 pounder nailed it (we were in like 10 feet of water) has anyone caught fish on a so called "Bad Cast"?

I've got a question. I've been pouring my worms into the molds bought at Barlow's Tackle (the hard plastic ones) and I was wondering. Is there anyway I can buy some molding clay (used to make pottery) and press a worm into it and make the form and use that as a mold? If not what would be the easiest homemade mold that I can use to either press currently made mold or make my own mold? thanks for any help! 8-)
  18. Hey LBH, I sent you a pm with my picture back in I think April or March...Are you going to use that or do you want me to send you them via the members media mail?
  19. Key thing to remember... CLEAR WATER = NATURAL COLORS so watermelon, brown, green, etc. 8-)
  20. I've never tried that. But then again I do the same thing with a spinner-bait. It is called the 'Wake Retrieve'. If it will work for a spinner-bait then I am sure a buzz-bait will work too. PS: Welcome to the board!! 8-)
  21. 1.) I use an improved clinch knot. It works best in my opinion. 2.) I sometimes use a trailer, I normally use either a small worm or a shad jerkbait. 3.) It depends on where you are fishing. If the lake or pond, etc. is really murky charteruse and white will be good. If it is clear then natural colors work well. My favorite color is BOOYAH© Counter Strike.
  22. I say my strongest points are... 1.) Casting a lure into the right spot. I am an accurate caster, I've put lures in spots where some of the people I fish with wouldn't even dream of putting a lure in. For example, I was fishing back in Febuary for the Joseph Thomson Memorial tournament on Lake Anna (one of our fellow anglers passed... :'() and we were fishing a bank with a bunch of brush and bushes. I slung a spinner-bait up under the bush and hit the bank. 2.) Working weightless plastics (dinger, finesse worm, etc.) and spinner-baits.
  23. nice...errr...pets muddy! Currently living I have 2 dogs, a yorkshire terrier and a yellow beagle... and for the past pets (deceased there are 4)...2 of them are pictured though... A cat named KC (pictured) a beagle named Little Bit (pictured), a 'hound' named Odie, and a German-Shephard/lab mix named Clancy (both not pictured). KC> PS: That's my dad with KC, taken about 7 years ago! Little Bit> Little bit was my favorite along with Clancy. R.I.P Little bit, clancy, odie and KC!
