  1. No offense taken my friend.................It's all kewl. Most people share your opinion so its kewl. Frankly, i dont know why i continue to watch it, but I do............ of course, having Maria and Torrie doesnt hurt! ;D ;D
  2. That Sid leg break was nasty!!!!! How he managed to "fake" that is beyond me! ;D ;D ;D
  3. Sorry, the link doesnt work.............but I do buy from Ebay and have had no problems........
  4. I do..............There is a gentleman named Russ who has an online store on ebay with loads of quality tackle, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, jigs, crankbaits, etc...........He is VERY reliable..........Here is a link for you.......
  5. I also posted this in the "flea market" section but I have a brand new, still in box, BPS XPS balancing kit that I have no use for. I have G Loomis rods and obviously, the balancing kit doesnt fit. I will be more than happy to GIVE this away to anyone who wants it................ ;D
  6. Bassnleo........There is a ton of threads on the Ika and how to fish it..........Do a search and you'll find them.........There is also a current thread on the Ika with links on it to the other threads...........
  7. Dont say that Kent! This has been my secret here in Colorado for a while. I dont want to lose my mojo! You're probably right but no need to say it. ;D ;D ;D
  8. I love the Ika for smallies., especially if your fishing ledges..........The Ika will swim right under those ledges! Much Fun!
  9. Wrestling is NOT fake............It's scripted..............There is a difference............Anyone who watched Triple H's quad muscle roll up his leg a few years ago would never say that it was fake................Or watched Sid Vicious break his leg, that wasnt very fake either............Scripted, not fake. What's your favorite movie? Guess what, it's FAKE! It's entertainment is all it's is..................and a multi-billion dollar business I might add. People take it wayyyy too seriously. It all in fun. and obviously, I do watch, but only on Monday.....................
  10. I have one but I never use it at all.............If my partner and I were on a big lake with the boat, we had finders on it........If it was one of the smaller lakes we fish, I already know what's there. ( I dont use them to find fish, i use them to find cover and struture)...........It was hard getting a good reading on the screen and if the "transducer, the little green bubble thing" was more than 20 or 30 feet away, then it didnt work at all.........Another thing, you'd better secure it with pretty heavy line or whatever as if you go to "cast" it out, it breaks off your line or whatever you are using.............I would not buy one but that's just my opinion...................Thankfully, the one I have was a gift................been sitting in the closet for about 3 years........ ;D
  11. Swimming a small 3 in grub does the trick often in these cases............... and Avid, I thought it was a white jig, not a tube........... ;D
  12. You can also do a search on the IKA here at BR...........There has been 1000 threads about this bait.........
  13. Well, as you all have probably heard, one of our beloved Broncos was killed on New Year's. Darrent Williams was loved by everyone here in Denver and will be missed. RIP Darrent and we will not forget you. Thank you for the time you had here in Denver. :'(
  14. Seen one, you've seen em all..............
  15. Great informative post Gman! This site is so killer for this kind of stuff! ;D ;D ;D
  16. I think plastics take time to get the "feel" down.............otherwise, you have a beginner with a lot of missed fish and frustration.........I would start a newbie with reaction baits such as a spinnerbait or crankbait..........You dont need as strong a hookset as with plastics and there is not as much feel involved with this kind of fishing...............Plastics takes practice.................. My .04 cents...................... ;D ;D
  17. Needlenose pliers are also a must in my book..........good post RW! ;D
  18. You pretty much said it all Chris............The only thing I'll add is a lot of fisherman, including myself, use a jig, or as in my case, a tube, as opposed to a drop shot weight.......Why use 1 bait when you can use 2? They will tend to hang up more than a drop shot weight and the line doesnt have the ability to slide through in the event you become snagged, but sometimes it does pay off. Just depends on the structure you are fishing.....Good Luck!
  19. Party All Night Long - Kiss I think he means...Rock and Roll all night................... for me............ugh.....Where do I start.................Since I am a HUGE Kiss fan I guess i will go with of course Deuce-Kiss The Small Hours-Metallica Dirt White Road Girl-Artimus Pyledriver N.I.B- Black Sabbath God Send Death- Slayer and about 10000 others..................... ;D ;D ;D
  20. This can be done with a baitcasting set-up as well............ I still prefer to use a spinning outfit when dropshotting..........6'10 Diawa Light and Tough, medium light, fast action............Team Daiwa Fuego spinning reel............I've caught a LOT of Smallies with this set-up. I love it!
  21. Deuceu72 replied to pipho's topic in Fishing Tackle
I dont like it at all for the above reasons............I think i'll stick with GYCB or Zoom............. ;D
  22. for wacky wormin....I would use the 3/0................
  23. Braid & Spinning gear do not mix at all..........You really need a baitcast reel in order to use braided line.......The diameter of the braid is too large for a spinning reel to handle...........In fact, I never use heavier Mono or Fluro Line on a spinning reel either. If I go higher than 12 lb,I use a baitcast reel.
  24. Chicken Fried Steak & Eggs.............. ;D ;D ;D
