I wanna get started into pouring my own. can some of you pros advise me as to what to purchase and from where basic colors , types of salt, kind of plastic and heating methods, and any other additives i may need. types of molds for the best senkos ect ect i am not scared to spend some cash for the right gear thanks for the replies id rather make baits than ice fish and the water will be hard here in a few months:) e

Cold Weather Gear Thread Again
hand warmers....... lots of them they have the ones that have adheasive on them now so i stick them on my clothes near my kidneys as well as in my shirt pockets and seal them on with a big hoodie and cover that with a bib and for hands i like glove liners with cut off gloves over the liner so i can still use my fingers and a hand warmer stuffed in between and of course toe warmers for the boots. that set up had gotten me thru hours of cold exposure

i went last feb in pittsburgh it was a blast, these guys are so down to earth yah they are salesman too but but i enjoyed it nonetheless rich tauber was hilarious it really pumps you up to go fishing and learm more i think it was around 100 for 2 days and they give you some goodies eric

c-rig idea?
i recenty triied a c-rig set up with a fat ika hooked reversed (skirt up) and about a 3 foot leader. i didnt get any bites but i was just wondering if anyone has ever tried this setup? eric

i have used the big icka with much sucess i bought the fat icka but a #4 ewg seemed too small and a #5 ewg seemed to big but i never thought to rig it skirt up i will be sure to check it out eric
