Monster bluegills

I went out this morning and used a 3/4 ounce black and blue jig. I was out for about 45 mins before I had a job interview. I caught a 2.1#. Other than that I didn't get a bite when my pond is usually always active. It has slowed down a lot the past 2 weeks.

That's nice as hell man you do get what you pay for. You need to post a pic of the 8.3lb largemouth you caught when the guy finishes it. My one friend has a largemouth I think it is around 7lbs and he caught it on a popper and his mount has the bass going to strike the lure that he used to catch it. If I get a monster and I use something other than a worm that is the type of mount I want to get.

I'm a Yankee fishing in the south too the fishing here is better than it was up north by far! The biggest fish I caught in NJ is the smallest I caught in FL, not literally but close the fish here are huge!

I've had some days like that man especially in the heat. And I always fish from the shore so you are limited to the spots you can get to. If you have a boat you should be able to catch a fish every time you go out on the water. I can't wait til I get my first bass boat then the fishing is really gonna begin
