  1. Screw the screw lock in the chin of the frog, under the nose.
  2. Not too shabby, nice fish! Gotta love them KVD 2.5s When I was practicing with my casting gear I was the same way would catch all my fish on my spinning gear, so I gave it up lol
  3. That my trophy bass could be caught on the next cast!!! Happened to me TWICE today on a KVD 1.5. Hooked two big females within 10 mins of eachother, think they were guarding their young, both fish shook hook on the jump and only got half their body out the water!! Would have been the best 15min span of my life, fishing wise because the birth of my son would be #1
  4. Amazing video. Me and my buddies witnessed something like this 2 weekends ago twice in the same day. My one buddy said it was a shame I didn't have my gopro with me it would have been something cool to capture
  5. Depends on the size of the fish for me and how good I got it hooked. If it's a BIGGEN I want to get it in ASAP so I don't lose her, but if she's hooked good then I will let her fight a bit. If the fish is not "picture worthy" (i like to call em) then I let it fight and have fun with it.
  6. Nice fish on the chatterbait. I have never fished one before but I have two in my bag
  7. Where can I get hitchhikers at? Do I have to get them online or do stores carry them as well? I have Dicks Sporting Goods, Gander Mountain, and Academy by me as far as fishing tackle goes
  8. When you email it to yourself you need to change the size to medium. Then save the pics to you album and add to the site/post
  9. Which hooks do you like to use with the air frogs? None of my local stores carry the ones I have seen being used so I am going to have to place an online order
  10. I fish for the chance of landing the fish of a lifetime, you never know it could be your next cast...
  11. I only use the owner screw lock hooks. When I am going for a EWG or an offset I use h2o, you get 25 hooks for $4.99... I get 3-5 owner screw lock hooks (depending on the size) for the same price. Me and my buddies joke around saying we are going to write h2o a letter and send them emails asking them to make some screw lock hooks
  12. My buddy Jason's biggest bass came out of Underhill (EDIT: didn't mean to say Toho) it was 10lbs caught it on a shallow diving minnow. He said he has luck using crankbaits, worms, and flukes but it all depends on the conditions (water temp, wind speed, etc) that dictates what he is going to throw.
  13. You have to remember that you are in their territory they aren't in ours. Majority of them are just curious they aren't going to attack your boat or anything like that. I have had some go after my top water lures, but never my fish but have seen it on videos. Check out Captain Shane's YouTube channel he has some amazing videos of being run off by gators and gators going after his fish, lol don't let that put you off about fishing in FL though.
  14. Yea when I fish courses I tend to stay out of their way like you said that's there right an a most of them pay to golf so I always respect them. Out of all the times I have fished I only had a problem with one golfer who took exception to me fishing. Funny thing is I wasn't even near him and he went out of his way to come over to me and tell me how he felt lol. I laughed at him and said I am sorry you are having a bad golfing day I am having a bad fishing day so far if that makes you feel any better lol. Besides that one old guy nearly all the time I get a wave or a nod and a bunch of guys ask me if I am having luck, what I am using, etc. Most know that you are just enjoying your hobby/sport just like they are (surprisingly a lot of golfers are fishermen too go figure lol)
  15. Key thing to remember about golf course fishing, doesn't matter what lure you throw, is to stay out of the golfers way! That's the key to not gettin kicked out by either security or worse case scenario the police because sometimes there is that one golfer that will try to ruin your day.
  16. Top Toad in black... All day every day

  18. That's a nice spot regardless of the weight

  20. Me and my boy dsidle were talking about this video over the weekend funny I saw it posted on Facebook today and now on here... I'm going frogging tomorrow and this new spot maybe this is a sign!!!!
  21. My goal is to first break the double digit mark and then get into the teens!!! If one fish gets me both my goals I won't complain lol
  22. Lol you said you and your wife are coming to Orlando the last week in March right?
  23. Man I can't wait to get here Thursday thanks again for putting me on your spot while I'm in Orlando (can't wait to get some frog action) watch none of the fish will bite for me when I'm there because you and your brother are catching them all!!! I will have my gopro running!
  24. Have to admit the got me with the fish sticks gimmick, don't care what anyone says it didn't help me catch more fish or make the fish lock on longer... d**n U KVD lol
  25. I have only had 30lb braid break off on a fish bout 3 times. That's weird you te having a problem with it
