I use my polarized glasses from time to time. For the price my strike king s11 are perfect. I'm sure a lot more expensive ones may be better but I'm not sure how much better they really get.

Yea I wouldn't at all! I'll let people I fish with come to my spots but not the general public. When I come to south fl I expect you to take me to some of your spots lol. Me, you, and Lou wouldn't but a lot of people on this app do lol. You won't find any of my spots on there but I will go to theirs

Welcome to FL bass fishing! My cousin and his wife moved here from NY, my cousin is originally from London moved to NY to play basketball and college. He only fished once before with his boss and he was out for 5 hours and caught nothing, not a good first fishing experience. He came down here and I got him hooked off of one 2 hour trip. The fishing up north holds no comparison to the fishing here in FL. I absolutely love it, I am going to take a trip to South FL and check out these canals, snake heads, and peacock bass you guys got down there.

I was going to get one they sell them at Walmart and Dicks. Seems like a good bag. It's a nice size I have a smaller tackle bag that holds 4 boxes, so I need to upgrade to something bigger. I like the look of them and the colors.

Question for you snook... If I were to pay my money at a public course and chose to fish not play golf then what fair game I believe? (Lol but I would never pay price for playing golf just to fish) Yea I always ask permission before I fish and I make it a priority to stay out of the way of the golfers. Most of the time if I see any they talk to me ask if I caught anything and wish me luck. They understand that I am just enjoying my hobby like they are, said hobby not sport because golfing and fishing are not sports.

Yea most of them were in that range nothing over 5lbs tho. I went out to the golf course today with Bass Czar, I got there way later than I expected slept in. I didn't catch anything he pulled in a few nothing too big. Yesterday the fish were dialed in this morning, for me atleast, not at all. I had most of my fish caught during the evening so I am going to go back tonight. But I am telling you if any of you guys have any golf courses you need to fish them! If its a private course you will need permission if its public than its fair game.

What kind of jig u using? I usually use a swim jig with a rodent trailer and cast it out as far a I can past the point I want to focus on. Let it sit and bounce it like a football jig then retrieve it fast and repeat. I hav a lot of success doing it like that. And if you see structure u want to bounce about couple feet before it and then let it sit and speed retrieve and the kill it. Happened to me 4 times today. I went back out before dark and I pulled in 3 more nice ones two 19" and one 18" My top 5 is 20, 19, 19, 19, 18, 95 total I will post the new 3 tomorrow after I get back from the golf course with Bass Czar.

Anyone else have Fishing Spots downloaded on their phone? I'm not sure if its on the android market or not. I found it couple days ago and it is very handy. People post fishing locations and a pic of what they caught. It also links to your current location so it makes navigation simple. This will become my most used app on my phone!

That 18" was one of my favorite catches of all time! I saw that one following a smaller one so I threw my senko out missed the area they were at. So I cast again and then I'm reeling and I feel my line go I set the hook and am reeling it in. Then the hook comes loose and my senko fly up out the water and somehow landed right by where the 1st fish got off and then I see the 2nd one slam it the second the senko hit the water and take off. It fought like a beast.

18" I have been having luck in the AM around 8:30. I've been getting the bigger ones on 6" senkos and swim jigs.

MCS: yea man I know it's a new month lol. I have just been having luck fishing the same two spots at this golf course. The fish there are huge.17" 20" 19" 16"

Nice fish I love catchin em on jigs. I use a swim jig with a KVD rodent. Did you use a trailer?

My top 5 so far is 90 (20, 19, 18, 17, 16)... I have to replace that 7" I was trying to get this atleast 7lb to bite everything but it wouldn't bite. I tried senko, jig, trick worm, rodent, lizard, and even a crank nothing. It was in the same area for a while and then after about 30 mins I couldn't see it anywhere. It was frustrating to see it look at my bait and chase it but not take it

I caught an 19", 18", and 16" but nothing compared to the fight that the little 7 inch put up! Felt like there was a weed stuck to my line and then the Hawg emerged hooked in the lower lip.
