  1. I would throw a frog over the pads. You can also use any plastic you are fishing and just drag it across the pads, that's what I generally do and I find a spot and drop my plastic. Nothing like skimming your worm across the top drop it in a little hole and BOOM. As someone also said you could throw a spinner bait, or even a crank, along the edge of the pads and it's hard for those bass sitting and waiting to resist crushing your lure. I would even throw a jig, swim jig or even a football jig and bounce it off the bottom at the edge of the pads. Hope some of this helps! I am about to go to my spot that has a lot of pads and see if I can get any top water action. Good luck man, and I hope the info we all provided helps you locate and land those fish
  2. Yea I was under the impression that it was easy to fish there I see so many users posting steroid fish that they caught there. And this is my dream trip! I have a 12 month old so I can't afford to drop 4k to have an amazing fishing experience. My girlfriend knows that I want to take this trip I have a feeling I will be getting a nice gift in the near future from her!! She even jokes that when we get married and go on our honey moon I can go to Lake Baccarac and she will go somewhere else in Mexico and then we can meet up after my fishing trip. NOW THAT'S A REAL WOMAN lol eventhough I kno she is kidding
  3. Lol I wish his mother would have a fit! We live in FL so she would be worried that he would get bit by a snake or eaten by an alligator lol
  4. I only have luck with the 6" black with blue flake. Idk why but I only get bites using them no other colors or the 5" work for me

  19. Congrats you get a pic? How big was it?
  20. O yeah I am definitely going to have to hold you to that. I did an airboat ride in the glades when I was I vacation with fam, I lived in NJ at time and was just visiting so I didn't get a chance to fish but man did I want to!
  21. Yea freshwater fishing is way more private than saltwater fishing. I can count on my hand te amount of times I ran into someone at one of my freshwater spots. I don't do too much saltwater fishing but I'd imagine you run into a lot of people, unless you have your secret AM spot like you do snook so you don't come into contact with other fishermen.
  22. Everyone pretty much summed it up on how to fish that. But that spots looks like bass heaven
  23. Yup golf course fishing. But the pond is anything but little it's massive. And all of the different ponds around the course and housing development are connected. The ponds are atleast 12 years old, I'm not sure which cAme first the golf club or the development. If it was the development then they are way older than that.
  24. I have never seen that before but as someone said before I wish I could
