I just got in from night fishing in my back yard and I caught 2 nice 2lbers. I was using a senko black with blue flake. I am going to start doing more night fishing out back since day fishing has been slow past couple weeks

Worst moment is when I get my new PB basically to shore, close enough that I can see that it would have beaten my previous, and it comes off!! Happened to me 3 times so far this year. My PB is 6lbs 10oz could have been broken 2 times definitely was shattered my most recent PB lost 5 or so feet from my grasps.

Not to start anything with the older gentlemen on this site but it seems like a lot of older people swear by ugly stick and Shakespeare it's like that's all they know.

I was at DSG yesterday I didn't even notice any clearance reels just lures

Funny thing is I use to fish with a ugly stick and that's probably where i picked up my mistake fish landing habits.

Is it right near the flea market so I won't miss it? Because I will ask the property owner if I can fish it, I've had luck fishing private ponds and from people's backyard that way.
