  1. Nice head shot
  2. What do you do with your other hand? Lol jk
  3. What's his total? Unless I get something in the next few days, which by how it has been going lately I won't, my final length is 104
  4. Yea man it's been really slow lately here in Jacksonville. I see big ones at my spots but I can't even get a bite. What was weird is that last year this time I was only catching big ones and the past few weeks I haven't been able to get any nice size ones and have not been putting up the numbers that I was earlier, big or not. I haven't really fished out my backyard, which last year I flooded this site with pics of big ones. Every time I go I catch nothing or small fish smaller than the actually bait I am using. Hopefully the big ones show up out back because so far this season I have only seen 3 swimming around and only caught 1 just under 3lbs
  5. I am going to Daytona this weekend. I will be by the flea market and then over by Daytona Beach. Anybody from that area or fished that area know of any good spots? Also are there any peacock bass in Daytona? Any information is appreciated thanks
  6. Furthest I go is about 35-40 mins but all my everyday spots are all within 5 mins of my house. I am taking a trip to Daytona this weekend and I am going to do some fishing
  7. Unfortunately the lady said that they only carry yum minnows and no worms. I am gonna take a trip up there this weekend to see what they have, I didn't even know about this shop... Thanks MCS for always trying to lend a helping hand
  8. I checked out their website and they don't have the Mightee worms on there but I am gonna call the store when they open and hopefully they carry the 10.5" ones.
  9. I am heading out there in a few hours prob aroud 5:15am. If you are ever out this way text me, u got my number, I live like 4 mins away and am always out fishing somewhere from 5:30 til about 9 if I wake up.
  10. I have had the most luck using 6" senkos and 10.5" Yum Mightee Worms (this bait is my big bass bait I have never caught anything under 3lbs using this. Sucks because no store that I have found yet sells them so I have to get em online, I am waiting on my shipment to get here). I also had luck using shallow diving crank baits, spinner baits, storm swimming shad the bigger ones (my girl uses them I don't), and KVD rodent using a 1/2 oz weight. Seems like if you need to catch a fish then just throw on a senko, for whatever reason I NEVER catch any on anything less than a 6" senko. I have a few bags of 5" and absolutely nothing I guess that extra inch makes a difference I have no idea why
  11. Hah that's crazy now u need to get that frog back and hook into that 6lber... And no matter where you live a 6lber is in the LUNKER category that's a nice size fish
  12. No I wish i was boat fishing! the two times I broke it when landing the fish I didn't have enough slack in the line an I guess that's how it broke i was trying to juggle the fish and my rod at the same time (first time it happened I was like I don't understand and the second time I did virtually the same exact thing and it broke and I just laughed to myself like really a second time) I went back to DSG and replaced it again! This time I hope I will be more cautious.
  13. Wait so this trip was last year? When u were talking about how you lost the 6lber back in August I was thinking that u went out recently and caught it an got your lure back, now that would be a crazy story to tell!
  14. Sounds like a good time man. I need to get myself a buddy who has a boat. I am confident that I would kill it fishing from a boat, eventually that day will come lol
  15. Golf course fishing is the best fishing! I have seen some monsters at the course I fish at I think the golf balls is what make em so big
  16. 1 for 25 isn't a good ratio lol I usually wait a few seconds before I attempt to set the hook, more often than not it works on some cases the bass will spit the frog out before you can set hook if you wait too long

I believe in aliens if people think we are the most advanced life form out there they are pretty naive. if you look at how many different species of life we have here on earth and how different each one is there has to be something else out there that trumps the alpha predator known as humans
  18. Everyone wants to see sharks until they get too close to one then they wish they never went in the water lol
  19. Within the past 2 weeks, less than actually, I have went through 3 St. Croix Mojo Bass rods (two 6'9" and one 6'8") I have no idea what is going on but how can you break 3 rod tips in that short of a time period. Only one time, yesterday, was legitimately my fault but the other two came while I had a fish landed, could be considered my fault too I guess. I bought my rods at Dicks Sporting Goods and luckily I purchased the 2 year warranty they offered. This allows me to take rod back in any condition and either exchange it or get my money back to purchase anything that I want. I really like the St. Croix Mojo Bass rods but not sure if I want to go and get my FOURTH. Anyone have any suggestions of any other good quality rods, I thought St. Croix were, that DSG carries? Also has anyone had as much bad luck as I have had with any rods?
  20. That's a nice looking 4lber
  21. It's on racetrack road across from the closed Poker Room. It is the end of racetrack closer to Phillips Highway. You need braided line to pull out some HAWGS me and MCS saw
  22. Ike or Zona they both would make the trip entertaning
  23. Yea jersey boy ventured into that with some basketball shorts and nikes and my pole lol. I only fished out of that one clear spot. The second lake looks like there is an opening, only saw it from the road I am going to check it out tonight.
  24. 25 pounds in 30 minutes man
  25. Any time you can catch fish on lures you normally dont use or aren't comfortable with that's a good trip
