  2. Went out this afternoon around 5:30 til dark. I was pulling them left and right out the Lilly pads using a 7" senko but absolutely nothing of size they were all under 12". I pulled out 15 and missed a bunch. I went through 6 senkos. I am going out again tomorrow morning around 5:30
  3. Wow that's a monster smallie
  4. Yea that's what I hear about smallmouth. My whole life I've only fishe for largemouth. I never experienced te fight o a smallmouth or a peacock bass.
  5. Nice fish man how big u think it is? Fish has nice color
  6. Went out this morning at 6:30 caught a few biggest was 14" and missed a big one didn't hook it right lost it about 3 feet from shore.
  7. Yes you are absolutely correct about the ease of use. That's y I stuck with the iPhones because I feel it's simple and everything flows. I just wish instead of giving us the same recycled phones add a nice ZOOM on the camera that's all it need. Back to fishing I live in Jacksonville I don't even know where to go to catch smallies
  8. Man I have the 4s and IMO the camera and video quality sucks compared to that of a real camera.. The iPhone zoom is horrible. Idk if there is another app that makes the camera better but I doubt it I use the standard camera feature and it's horrible compared to other smart phones with less megapixels. But I agree with u he needs an upgrade if he still has a flip phone.
  9. Yea I want to get a nice camera I am thinking about getting a go pro soon
  10. I think they were chasing dragon flies I'm talking full out breach of the water feet above the water. To paint a picture if you have eer had a bass jump as your are reeling it in think of te highest you have ever seen and double it! I'm talking a good 3 feet minimum from their tail to the water and these were HUGE fish. I am going back there this weekend I am going to see if I can get any footage, suck that it will be using my iPhone
  11. Yes everybody loves some pics with a great story
  12. Yea I am the same way 100% of the fish I catch I release. I just take a few pics then off they go. I don't eat fish so there is no point in me keeping them.
  13. Wow this whole time I have been transferring the photos tot computer then I upload them to tinypic.com and resize them then I put them on te site, it's a very tedious process I've been on this site for how long and I just learned something new... I am the same way I lose patience a lot of times and want to move on to the next spot that looks promising.
  16. Lol that was great I'm going to tell my girl this one
  17. My mom is deathly afraid of snakes. There is no question if she ever saw one in her house she would move out of the state of FL
  18. I want to do some Peacock bass fishing. Anybody know the closest place to Jacksonville where I can catch em?
  19. Went out today to my spot caught a few small ones and saw the resident alligator swimming around but other than the gator no real excitement
  20. I live in Jacksonville I've never caught a peacock bass I don't think they are native to this area waters probably get too cold during the winter months
  21. I hook them through the lips (only problem is they have trouble opening their mouth but they still last pretty long). When I am not feeling lazy I hook them through the upper lip and out their nostril (this allows them to open their mouth and they last longer only problem is they slip off the hook easier when casting)
  22. Nice fish fry em up and throw some Louisana hot sauce on it
