Bps Warranty Info
If I were you I would just buy it and not worry about the warranty. If something goes wrong with either one of them they'll most likely just exchange it for you. But honestly that is a fantastic combo (have 4 myself) and you shouldn't worry about it. Like some have said it depends on the store and the manager, but I think generally BPS is pretty good about taking back items if it's their brand. Last year I took a graphite series and tourney special casting rod (hardly used) back after about a year and a half with no receipt and they gave me store credit for both of them, almost enough to pay for a new carbonlite.

You do still have to wear your lifejacket and get a pager, but the guys at the gate aren't as bad as they used to be. The older guy that was a total a-hole doesn't work there anymore. I wear a stearns inflatable belt jacket and usually can't even tell I'm wearing it.

Just saying that the one I rode in went that fast, the 115 would be more but maybe not enough for you.

There's a '99 Ranger on craigslist with a 115 Johnson for $8500. Dual console and a really nice looking boat. I know that's less HP than you want but just thought I would throw it out there. I've been in a boat similar to this that only had a 90 HP and it went over 50 mph.

Best Rain Gear
I had the cheaper frogg toggs for years and they eventually got all fuzzy and it would get all over my hands when really wet. I recently bought a pair of the toad skinz pants and am very pleased with them so far. Wore them last thursday just to block the wind and they did a great job of that and kept me very warm. I'll be getting the jacket for christmas most likely.

I was using a 1/4 ounce swimbait jighead and a 5" big bite cane thumper. Picked up a 1/4 oz. red eye shad while we were into them and couldn't get bit. They really wanted a swimbait.

The spotted bass I caught was north of the east state park ramp. There is decent depth there. We found a bunch of white bass all the way in the back of the cove in about 5' of water.

Scrogg is not exaggerating the size of the two he lost. The first one was almost black and easily 4 pounds, the second might have been the biggest smallie I'd ever seen at melvern. We thought he had either a flathead or a big walleye at first, then it went airborne We got into the whites north of the state park ramp and I caught a nice chunky 16" largemouth swimming a big bite cane thumper through the top of a brush pile. Then a little farther down the bank I caught the spot Scrogg mentioned, biggest spot I've caught at melvern.

Ever Lost A Setup In The Lake?
Mine was an almost, caught my vendetta/revo s (brand new that day) combo on my backcast and flipped it in the water. Luckily I was able to stick the rod in my hand in the water and snag the crankbait that was on the vendetta. And somebody else mentioned losing sunglasses, I lost a pair of oakley half jackets to the niangua river two years ago and a pair of flak jackets to the elk river this year. Because of this I have started buying XPS glasses to avoid losing so much money every time I go on a float trip.

Kc Area Fall Get Together 2013
At least you got rewarded for throwing a jerkbait..... I didn't pick mine up all day. Van and I threw a jig and texas rigged tube all day and had six pounds to show for it. Tough day, and the boat problems made it exponentially worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Feeling And Looking Like Fall In Nj Today
My dad is from Passaic and we used to go visit his parents frequently. It was really dirty the last time we were there which is why it was hard to imagine anything worth catching being in there. He always talked about catching stripers in the river but never mentioned smallies or pike. Cool fishery to have right near your home!!!!

Amazing that there are pike in that river.

Would A Medium Power Fast Action Rod Be Good For Squarebills?
I use a 7' M/F Carbonlite for square bills and it works well for me.

Should I Buy This Bass Raider 10E
I would be careful dragging it too much on concrete (ramps especially). I used mine for a period of about 6 years and I always drug it up the ramp out of the water. Eventually I put two gashes in the bottom that were about 2-3 inches long, happened on both pontoons in about the same spot. Just something to keep in mind.
