  1. 5" Green pumpkinish stick. Senko, Dinger or Megastick. Take your pick.
  2. This is awesome! Bluegill/sunfish color by any chance?
  3. Weightless T-rigged.
  4. All braid fades or bleeds. Some more than others. I'm using pp high vjs yellow for my Senko set up, couldn't be happie. So much easier to line watch and I use a yellow sharpie to freshen it up.
  5. Eight out of ten is not a bad ratio. Can't catch em all. They come un buttoned on everybody, even the pros. I throw a lot of different brand spinnerbaits and one has a superior hook up ratio, in my opinion. That is the strikeback by megastrike. It's like the fish double hook themselves, he needs to add a bluegill color and I wouldn't have to buy the other brands.
  6. Spinnerbait/Soft stick bait
  7. Weightless t-rigged Senko style worm, use a 3/0 Owner twistlock hook. Use a swing set with a med/fast rod. No need to use a hard hook set, bass inhale senkos like kids inhale candy.
  8. Weightless Senko, t-rigged, in a color similar to the one they missed. Doesn't matter what type my first bait was, any missed strike, if I can get the Senko back to that area, that's what I'm throwing back at them.
  9. TW shipping is $6.75 when ordering less than $50.
  10. Owner Twistlock 3/0 for 5", 4/0 for 6". These hooks will allow more fish per bait, regardless of which brand Senko style bait you choose to use.
  11. No trailers needed here in the clear lakes of Michigan, at least that's what KVD says. Stained water and muddy water he says by all means but a trailer on it.
  12. X3, it's perfect for the backpack, and can hold up to eighteen spinnerbaits. All five of my plano's for my backpack are from the 3600 series.
  13. It appears you are correct, check out assassinatorbaits they have 3/4oz compacts
  14. Check out S.O.B.Products, Mini me spinnerbaits. Might be what you are looking for.
  15. The only thing I use for weightless Senkos.
  16. As far as I know, B.A.S.S. picks the sites for all of their tournaments. You can probably send them suggestions if you desire, I think some communities are now approaching them with site proposals, kind of like cities bidding for super bowls.
  17. Went to the Port Huron store here in Michigan on Wendesday. Picked up 6" Senkos, and some scroungers. Clearance and BOGO, definite bait monkey names.
  18. Create a fishing log using the solunar tables as one of the parameters. See if your bites and catches correspond. Bottom line it's one of many tools available to anglers to possibly help improve catches. When I have the time to fish, I'm fishing,
  19. I'm a line watcher 100% of the time when throwing weightless Senkos. I switched to yellow braid this year for that very reason. Often times the fish will just open its mouth and suck the bait in without you feeling anything, but the line will jump or start moving.
  20. Florida rig = Texas rigged with bullet weight pegged to the hook. No need for glue in my opinion.
  21. I always find your info to be very enlightening. I caught fish right after the opener here in Michigan, Since then the weather has been so inconsistent that I have been unable to get a bite. It is my belief that the majority of Largemouth are no where close to spawning and have been doing exactly what you have described. Thanks for being a member.
  22. I'm going to have to say alone, since all of my friends and relatives fish for everything but bass. However pan fishing would be another story, the more the better.
  23. Dingers are part of my arsenal of soft stick baits, however so far this year Bobby's sticks have been out fishing every brand that I have, including GYCB.
  24. Two to three hours a day, four days a week, Spring, Summer and Fall. Hibernation during Winter.
  25. I use the same rod&reel for senko's, fast tip on the rod, braid/flouro line combination. Absolutely no problems hooking them. You might want to consider a line change to flouro or braid, unless you really want to buy a new rod.
