  1. 1984-brush hog, 1967 jellyworm, 1980 salt impegnation, 1997 senko, 1973 curlytail, 1987 trickworm, 1981 sluggo
  2. Been using Fiskars scissors for years. You can find them in the school supply area of your local store.
  3. I always keep a hook sharpener in my bag, just finished sharpening all of my spinnerbait and swim jigs and chatterbaits.
  4. Here in Michigan, the tournament guys lobbied hard for year round bass fishing in Michigan. The DNR relented with one caveat. Catch and Release from Jan.1st to the third weekend in May for most of the state. This in effect helps to protect the spawn and let us fish all year round. The tournament guys either had to change their format or remain complaining because they still have to wait until June to catch and keep bass.
  5. You must be out of your mind! LOL. I'm a horrible jig fisherman even when I don't switch hands!!
  6. Fish on!! If it works for you that's all that matters. I believe the Ugly Stick has a soft tip, which is good for the baits you mentioned.
  7. Don't under estimate the ned rig for pre spawn. Here in Michigan I caught them in February, March and April on that. Drop offs near flats with some sort of rocks on the north end of the lake late in the afternoon(highest temp of the day)
  8. Not one sponsor recommendation(Kastking) very interesting.
  9. Switching hands after a cast just doesn't seem very efficient to me.
  10. No complaints here. I would buy all I could afford at $30 each.
  11. I use a 6'6" Veritas med fast with a 6-3-1 ratio reel spooled with 30lb 832.
  12. From my perspective(fishing from the bank), the inside edge would be the grass line facing the shore and the outside edge would be facing open water. I could be totally off base on this, but that is how I define the edges of a grass line. From a boat it would be the opposite.
  13. Baby wipes are a quick and easy solution to this problem.
  14. Hi vis yellow 15lb with various fluorocarbon leaders(8-15lb)
  15. Another for spinning and baitcasting.
  16. What's the difference between this and a regular stick-o, I asked BPS 3 or 4 months ago, they never replied.
  17. Could be spawning bass guarding a nest. They will grab the end of it to move it, when you set the hook you get half and the fish has half. I have also experienced this with small walleye.
  18. Power pro slick 8 or suffix 832, whichever is on sale when I need it. 15lb on spinning and 30/40 for casting.
  19. Glad you asked this question, having recently started using bait casters, I wondered if the wet hand thing was because of the braid. Never noticed the water accumulation on my spinning gear{which is also spooled with braid} As far as the bleeding goes, Daiwa J8 out bleeds them all.IMO
  20. First off, I'm guessing you meant sun down and sun rise. Of the two I prefer sunrise around 5 am to be exact. You will benefit from the darkness and more than likely have the lake or pond all to yourself{especially during the week}
