  1. I ordered one last week, thanks for the post.
  2. Forbes has got it all wrong. Gander Mountain closed, Cabelas bought out, just two of many indicators that the industry is headed in the wrong direction. As stated above, the you tubers are targeting for the most part, a very young age group, one that hopefully one day can sustain the industry.
  3. Lake fork guy, bass resource, and tackle advisors for that inside look of reels and lures.
  4. I have both, power pro 8 and suffix 832 hi vis on my spinning setups. Power pro fades quicker than suffix, and suffix will sink a little more than power pro. I fish plastic stick baits on these setups, both help to detect strikes and line motion. Can't go wrong with either one IMO.
  5. A ten to fifteen second dip in boiling water should do the trick.
  6. I have the Bps extreme tackle bag. It features front loading and is the reason I bought it. Easily accessible and your soft plastics stay straight if you store them in planos.
  7. In my part of the country, it's all about Koegel's viennas.
  8. I use the plastic one to assist in hook removal on pike.
  9. He's not finished, he still has two live shows to do!!
  10. I concur with the bleeding issue, I have some of the hi vis. Once it was finished bleeding, it was still much more visible than super 8 or 832 after they fade.
  11. I get what your saying, but if you really think the spot has potential, you owe to yourself to fish it. Getting skunked is always a part of the deal.
  12. I love the challenge of a lake. All of my biggest fish have come from shore fishing at lakes. Ponds are fun and productive, but a lot easier to catch fish on and cover a lot of water. I agree with team9nine, you break down the lake into fish able areas and fish it thoroughly.
  13. Whenever I'm bank fishing a larger body of water, I always start in the areas where the pan fisherman fish. Those are the bait fish in my part of the world. I then branch out from there always thoroughly fan casting an area before moving on.
  14. Lipless cranks are the only thing I carry when bank fishing. Were always fishing up hill, swim jigs, spinnerbaits are better options for me.
  15. Gold/ silver double willow blades the majority of the time.
  16. Back packs are the only way to go when bank fishing.
  17. A BIG FAT ZERO. But I keep trying!!
  18. It's the reason I now use braid. I tried it with my spinning tackle, to wiry for me. As others have stated, I use red label for my leaders without any issues.
  19. I only have one rule, the leader knot doesn't get to the reel.
  20. Spring is on it's way!!! March 20th Spring is on it's way!!! March 20th
  21. Another vote for lipless.
  22. You can always use a regular backpack. I use both, depending on where I'm fishing. I have a BPS extreme qualifier which can be a bit cumbersome at times. However it holds a lot of tackle and it is on its third season(which is amazing) When I'm going the less traveled route I use one of my smaller backpacks.
  23. Haven't seen those yet, but I did see two colors of Havoc Pit Boss now being displayed. Our fishing sections are being changed in our local Walmarts. No more Seaguar or Stren flourocarbon for starters, just vanish. Gamakatsu and Mustad hooks are also gone.
