  1. I love power pro super slick. So my questions is just what exactly did they do for improvements?
  2. Is that a bow tar or a mo tar?
  3. According to the executive order, Physical outdoor activity like kayaking. canoeing , and sailing are permitted. but using a motorboat, jet ski or similar watercraft are not.The key is physical activity. The DNR site does not mention trolling motors as permissible. I'm not sure how this effects private lakes and their use during the crisis.
  4. As the title states, The State of Michigan banned the personal use of motorized boats in Michigan. Only canoes, kayaks and sailboats are allowed. Is this the beginning of all fishing being banned? I guess only time will tell.
  5. I like braid on my spinning gear. A 15lb eight carrier braid would be my choice.
  6. I've been fishing since ice out.
  7. Plastic stickworm 1/2oz double willow spinnerbait 1/2oz swimjig ribbontail worm plastic paddletail swimbait(RI or Kietech) ned rig TRD
  8. I live in Genesee county, born and raised in Flint. Plenty of clean lakes in this county.
  9. Two of the best fisherman or shall I say bass anglers from the state of Michigan(Kevin Van Dam and Mark Zona) recommend the following two setups for most waters in Michigan. A medium fast spinning setup and MH casting setup. When I got back into it, I started with a spinning setup first, it is a lot more versatile for the clear water fishing of Michigan. Hope this helps.
  10. Ditto, this is great news coming from the DNR.
  11. For me, the fight is and always has been part of the enjoyment of fishing.
  12. That's awesome!! Michigan did the same thing a couple of years ago, because of that I'll be fishing my first ice out pond of the year on Saturday.
  13. That's not the one Grigsby is using.
  14. Search the thread{ Bait Weights. I got bored one Night}, plenty of info there. According to that thread an RI beaver is 10.4 grams. Hope this helps.
  15. Highest temperature of the day.
  16. Specs look good. Killer colors for the south Florida area.
  17. Simple solution, pick up some small diameter clear plastic hose. Think of aquarium hose, cut small piece and slide it over the bend of the spinnerbait. Problem solved. I tie direct and everyone of my spinnerbaits has tubing on them.
  18. For your first baitcaster I would recommend inexpensive mono. Takes a lot of practice with a baitcaster, which means birds nests along the way. Once you are confident with using a baitcaster then you can decide which line to use. There's plenty of info on this site, to guide you on the pros and cons of each type of line.
  19. A- John Cox B- Jeff Gustafson C-Koby Kreiger D- Stephen Kennedy E- Buddy Gros
  20. They will also bite a power bait 12" ribbontail up here with no problem. Don't under estimate the great northern bass. LOL
  21. Hopefully it's just the new ownership of Strike King testing the waters so to speak. Still plenty of good choices, Zoom, Yum, Big Bite Baits, are all good value baits.
  22. That's the major reason why I target carp after bass. It's all about the fight for me.
  23. They still have their Field and Stream stores, so it makes sense to take fishing and hunting out of the DSG stores.
  24. Largemouth - 5" Senko#912 color. Smallmouth- 3.25" tube Goby color.
