I think about how i was fishing, the retrives , condition's , wind moon what i was using. and of course i write it all down.

i only use a trailer hook ,that is masked by the skirt i don't like a long hook. I have tried ribbon tail worms, pork frogs with no success. this year im going to try a few grubs or twin tail grubs on the back on for boo yah pond magic spinners. the times i've gotten hit with a ribbon tail worm as a trailer they would hit the worm and not even get close to the hook , just bite the tail off. so i stopped doing that and continued to catch fish.

it was 80 yesterday today 40's and rain then about 7pm its was 28 and snowing with 40 mph winds. im done

can i buy cork sealer at any local dealer like a ace hardware or lowes? i tried looking online but everything has to be shipped for the-40

As i was writing it i was thinking well it would just eat live things and make sure ,then i thought about the live bait. yea i see where your coming from but the studies id like to see are stress levels of fish and the damage it causes. (If any) also the many threads on here about can fish feel pain (which a no, im taking it as a bass feels pressure). Where did you find the study of mammals who stopped eating.

Hmm im not sure i think that they would become conditioned to the lures and presentation. i bet they will realy make sure its what they want and be certain its reel. but then again theres live bait to catch them .
