My students love "Barbie the Bluegill" and always are asking me to catch a "Ken"

Only taken one type of bait (fluke/senko/crankbait/etc....) on an outing? I have thought about this many times, for a challenge or just to get used to a new bait in my arsenal. Let me know if you have done such a thing, what you used, and how it went!

I too am a bank fisherman, and never have ventured into the jerkbait aisle at BPS. I hope to pick one or two up and give them a try soon.

If/when you relocate because of any reason (job etc...) how much consideration of distance of good bass fishing do you put into where you relocate?

Just an update.....my jigs helped my boss win a tourney in KS, but he has won his bass club overall for the last 7 or 8 years, so it might be him and not my jigs.

I am a 5th grade teacher and have two aquariums in my classroom. One of them the students take care of completely, including having to raise funds, clean, and decide what type of fish. The other is mine, with a bluegill/sunfish hybrid that I have had for about 2 years. Anyone else have aquariums?
