  1. Good Luck!!!
  2. I agree with LD, why don't you just try something else?
  3. Ha! Thats a good one!

I agree with Roadwarrior on what Nick really meant......lol
  5. Mine would be a Rat L Trap despite all the bad things said about it on the most popular unproductive bait. I also like the Rapala DT6.
  6. My favorite lilly pad technique is a heddon moss boss. If you pop these things over lilly pads when you get to the break of water between lilly pads there is often an explosion on topwater.
  7. I kinda caught the same fish twice. I was bluegill fishing with crickets and 4lb line on my ultralite when this aggresive bluegill grabs my bait and takes off and I almost get him in and he broke my hook. Therefore, I tied another one and cast back to where I hooked him and this time I caught him and he had my old hook as well as the one connected to my line in his mouth.
  8. Do you guys use these same tactics in the winter time when the water is cold as well?
  9. What months issue of Bassmaster is this article in?
  10. I have to agree with ernel on this one, too much catch and release can be bad because the competition for food is too high and the bass don't get any bigger.
  11. My dad and I used to only bluegill fish with crickets and one morning he said you want to try bass fishing? At my young age I was like sure can't hurt and we caught about 10. I soon realized how fun they were when my dad tied on a topwater hula popper and the bass came blowing out of the water. Then my dad bought me some fishing tackle for christmas. Then I started looking online to find out more about bass and I saw how much information there was. Soon after I found this site and I have been reading the posts on this site for about 5 years. Ever since then I have kept reading about it and now it is a hobby and an obsession for me. Sorry about the novel just a little bit on how I got started.
  12. I used to be the same way as Snag but now that I am more knowledgeable I tend to only buy things when I really need them.
  13. When I went to the bassmaster university last year Denny Brauer said that one thing to look for is your shadow, because he said bass realize from an early age that a shadow could be a herron and this herron could be a potential threat.
  14. BCAlbin hit it right on the head
  15. The bottom line is you just made the best site on the internet better!!!!
  16. I think this is the question we are all asking and wanting an answer to. Thats what makes fishing, fishing the challenge of finding the fish. Anyway when I am trying to locate fish I look for structure because that's what I have confidence in fishing.
  17. Here in Indiana all license prices almost doubled I think it is a little expensive but like it was stated before it is going to a good cause.
  18. Welcome! This is a great site with a lot of knowledgeable people, but don't forget to read some of the great articles as well.
  19. I am glad that I am left handed because like D. Taylor said I don't have to switch hands when I cast and reel. I know that right handed people can buy left handed reels but right handed reels are much easier to come by.
  20. I am with ernel on this one, as long as I am fishin I am happy.
  21. My favorite is the Rapala dt6, I have always used crankbaits a little bit for years. Not until last year did I use them very heavily but I am glad I did because the DT6 in hot mustard was a real fish catcher.
  22. Great articles I look forward to seeing them every week!!
  23. If I see trash I always pick it up and put it in my pocket.
