  1. BPS 4" Mag tubes. It's pretty much all I use.
  2. P. Robinson...LOL for Party Robinson.
  3. Should be interesting. Lots of heavy hitters in the field again that are predicted to be the favorites. Going to be fun to experience the Expo on Friday and Sat.
  4. What knots are you using? What size and type of braid are you using? If you are using 20# or more braid using a simple Palomar knot it shouldn't be breaking unless you are fishing in lakes that have zebra mussels or something like that which will cut up your line.
  5. They cost more, but check out the Feel Free kayaks. A buddy has a Lure 11.5 and stands in it all the time, even on streams. It's really wide but doesn't have a lot of inside storage, at least not compared to my Ocean Kayak. Has a really nice seat. Probably more than you want to spend though.
  6. I'm buying a 2008 Tracker Pro Team 175 TXW from my uncle that is in great shape other than the seats need to be reupholstered or replaced as the stitching has begun to come undone. Has anyone had any experience with replacement seats from DeckMate? ( http://www.boatseatstore.com/collections/bass-boat-seats ) Seem like good quality and should match up nice with the red/gray color scheme of the boat.
  7. 14' is the minimum I would go just for the fact I would be fishing with a buddy most of the time. I've fished out of a 12' boat once with someone and we both were using 7'+ rods. Do the math. Someone got snagged on a back cast.
  8. Don't overlook the Falcon rods. Great rods. That said my favorite rod is an 7' MH Abu Veritas with micro guides. Great rod paired with a low end Lews reel...Casts a mile and super light.
  9. Drop shot with a tube would work very well and get it down there quick.
  10. He looked like a machine down on Kentucky. I think he has plenty left in him. Last year was a fluke.
  11. Strike King Sexy Dawgs and Damiki Dolphins (although the latter isn't made anymore )
  12. There's a local park that has bull frogs in it. I usually have a couple go after my frog when I fish one there. Had a couple get hooked like in the picture above. Dumb frogs... Still catch bass out of that lake though, but it's a C&R lake so there are a ton of fish in it always.
  13. I use P-Line CX Premium almost exclusively except on my braid rods. It's a great strong line. 8lb on my spinning and 10 or 12 on my casting.
  14. Personal preference. I'm a righty but I cast with my right and reel with my left on both casting and spinning rods.
  15. Ahh, but does it catch fish?
  16. Yeah, it's made out of two 2-liter bottles. I have to put a few rocks in it in the streams I fish so it sinks and stays on the bottom but it works pretty good.
  17. That's a great deal right there. I ordered the 5 pack and it was $24.25 shipped.
  18. I only use mine in streams, and I use saltine crackers crumbled up in it. I use a plastic bottle though, not one of the mesh ones.
  19. I take that back. Forgot most use a leader with braid.
  20. Braid doesn't work well with this rig since it floats and since this is a finesse method braid is pretty visible. Best to use co-poly or flouro.
  21. Yes and Yes, with no more than 8lb line, preferably 6lb.
  22. The beam measurement is the widest part of the boat, which in the case of most bass boats it is the width of the back of the boat.
  23. White and green pumpkin (and shades of green pumpkin)
