  1. Awesome last picture there.
  2. I got my keepers at bass pro.
  3. Motoroil chartreuse tip, green pumpkin, junebug
  4. I've used both mono and braid while fishing flukes. If I use them as a jerk bait (jerk, jerk pause) then I much prefer mono over braid. I felt like the flukes had too much action when jerked with braid because of the no stretch factor. Perhaps the braid, since it tends to float, also effected the slow sink that the bass hits on so many times. Either way, i got way more bites using mono, and this isn't a clear lake. Never tried flouro though..
  5. Nine is quickly becoming the super fluke.
  6. You can fish them like a fluke at times, swimming them over grass with twitches and you will get bit. The most effective way I've fished them though is much like I would a senko. They usually hit it on the slow fall or shortly thereafter.
  7. I do this all the time and it has never melted my flukes.
  8. I agree that these rods could be sold at a much higher price point due to their sensitivity and lightweight frame. I have nothing but good things to say about them, and I currently own a 6'6" m/h fast casting and a 6'6" med fast spinning
  9. Thanks for all the advice guys. I will try the ball bearing swivel and get back with results!
  10. Hey guys! I am experiencing horrible line twist issues on my med/fast spinning setup when throwing weightless plastics. Now I have heard that a swivel will help prevent this. So, I guess my question is what type of swivel would be most appropriate? Also, how much line is tied to the front (line connected to hook) of the swivel? Thank you in advance guys.
  11. On the list!
  12. I have had this happen with braid. Tie an overhand knot with the tag end upon completion of the palomar.
  13. Thanks for the heads up. Just got 11 packs of rage for under $30! Can't beat that!
  14. I'm guessing 28 inches
  15. Congratulations! Did you happen to get her length?
  16. Spike-it chartreuse garlic works well for me. I might have to try the megastrike so I can start putting scent on hard lures.
  17. If I catch any over 3, ill put them in the fishing report forum!
