  1. All the 3:16 swimbaits go in minutes too. I've been lucky enough to get one from the past runs this year.
  2. http://www.bassresource.com/fishing/supertune-baitcaster.html Good read if you're looking into supertuning.
  3. I'm out of tasty beverages. I think ill try that one next.
  4. Light gear, like a standard drop shot set up. 6# Finesse. Not really my cup of tea but theres a time and place for it. Yes they will hook a lmb just fine. A big bass can bend them out which is why the right gear is needed.
  5. Koppers for a regular hollow body. R2S Spittin Wa for popping style. Rage toad or Ribbit for soft plastic buzz style frog.
  6. Welcome to BR. Another IL member here. I fish mostly in Wisconsin though. Glad to have you!
  7. Nice to see you again Deep.
  8. Yea Lou , I think you got a bum one brother. I use braid on 90% of my reels from 10# -80#. My line stripper takes it all off no problem. I might have an extra one I can send you if you want it.
  9. I keep my boxes and goodies but burn my receipts to hide the evidence. Ironically people just give me these things brand new...
  10. Why not just engage the thumb bar and run the line stripper? That's what I do and it pulls off the line on a Shimano 300 DSV in just a few seconds.
  11. Loosen your drag. No shock absorption at all with such thin diameter line. It doesn't take much to drive a sharp hook in a bass with braid so you can give a little.
  12. I use the rage 6'10" mlxf rod paired with a 2500 ci4. Super light and very sensitive. I just don't drop shot much at all.
  13. The bluegill color is dynamite. Entices a lot of bites on my home lake.
  14. Ill be throwing them next weekend. I'll see how it goes. I have two that have yet to see water.
  15. Just a general inquiry. I didn't know if you used just 1 type of pin or different depending on baits.
  16. Killer instinct weasel is about that size. I believe it's wooden but I could be mistaken. Lol I have one but yet to even fish it.
  17. Wayne, What kind of pin or what do you use for a replacement pin for the tails on your swimbaits? Something that doesn't rust out...?
  18. As long as I live I will still never have as much as the old ladies shoes and handbags.... I have more than I need and not enough of all that I want.
  19. Beaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssss. Welcome to BR!
  20. I haven't fished much at all this year. I've been really tied up with work and some personal matters keeping me off the water. Hoping to get a few fall weekends in before we get the dreaded snow again. Keep chuckin', you got some beauties so far.
  21. Good fish Grizz. Way to stick em brother!
