Strike King S11 Optic Glasses
Resurrecting this thread. Today I noticed on the inside of my left lens, there is a big area that seems to be worn out on my lens. Almost as if a layer of tint wore off or simply evaporated. I only use a polyester lens cleaner to clean my glasses. The problem is now that when I look towards the sun or scan the horizon, it creates a glare that I'm not liking at all. I emailed Strike King about this today, so we will see what I hear back. I'm hoping they'll replace it but I did buy my pair from an Ebay retailer so I'm not sure they will. Anyway, I'm kind of bummed as I really do like the glasses a lot. I will post again when I hear from Strike King.

New Major League Fishing Fish Handling Rule
I am glad to see this put into the rules. I enjoy MLF and the format so I like to see them improving on it. I still don't pay to watch it though Yesterday or the day before I saw Alton Jones had hooked a nice musky in practice and he laid it right on the carpet of his boat just to take a picture with his shoe next to it. I know guys who'd harpoon him in the chest if they saw it in person.

Needing Help With Go Pro 3
I feel your pain. In the market for a new PC myself.

Needing Help With Go Pro 3
Mike, first step was getting class 10 card. Next your pc specs are important. Do you know that info? Both my pc's at home are too underpowered and playback choppy video. Also be sure you're not trying to watch the video straight off the card. Copy the files to your pc first and then watch it. Choppy video viewing makes it really difficult to edit especially lengthy clips. Try shooting at 720p/60. If your program was closing more than likely your pc specs are too low. This is why I haven't used mine quite as much. Its a b***** to edit for me right now.

Who Fishes The Havoc Pit Boss T Rigged?
I use it for punching quite a bit. Or pitching around docks and wood. Its a great little bait and the price point is a plus. Big fan of it.

Lake Ontario Smallies
Nice smallies! Lots of fun!

Is This Possible?
X2. Either sell it or keep it in the arsenal for down the road. Chances of you ruining it are probably more likely then you fixing it to your liking.

Sold On Swim Jigs!
Before you buy anything at Dicks, look at the selections from Siebert Outdoors and North Star. I have a couple of both companies swim jigs and they're much better than store bought jigs. Better skirts, better hooks, better fishing all around. Sieberts 3/8 oz in Blue Gill is one of my go to baits. I absolutely love it. I use primarily blue gill colors or hard candy. I like to use a rage craw or a paddle tail swimbait for my trailers. RW mentioned to me the other day to try out the Rage tail Menace so as soon as I can get to a store that carries them I will give that a whirl.

What is the length, power and taper? Ie: 6'6" medium/fast

Silly Hook Question
When you texas rig you put the point in only about 1/4 of an inch in the nose, twist the bait and insert the point back into the bait body. The weight shouldn't pass through the soft plastic at all. Also check out Mend-it. It'll save you a ton on soft plastics.

What rod are you using?

Good Bc For A 7.4 Heavy Frog Rod.
I use a Curado 200E7. Great drag and ipt to get them in quick. The reel is a flat out work horse.

Nice fish man. Way to go!

Fishing Leaders
You will be just fine. Bass are ambush predators and on a bait like a swimbait it usually gets hammered. Your leader wil not pose a threat or scare them. If you're fishing $60 baits in pike waters protect your investment. My.02

Siebert Outdoors Swim Jig
Will do RW. I tried the Rage shellcracker but not my favorite on a swim jig. I prefer those for pitching in weeds or rage rigging. Always in the hunt for good trailers on swim jigs. They're almost always tied on every time I go out.

Siebert Outdoors Swim Jig
I have a couple of the 3/8oz swimg jigs in bluegill color. They're truly the best. I use either rage craw trailer or a paddle style swimbait. Now I just need to get some more colors.

Lubricant For Tm Shaft?
What would be ideal for lubrication on a trolling motor shaft? Preferably nothing really messy. Someone referred me graphite but figured I'd get a good suggestion here. Its a MK powerdrive v2 if that matters to anyone.

Flukes
I use SK caffeine shads mostly. I like the heavier weight and the flutter on the fall is killer. I rig them weightless on a 4/o or 5/o. I fish them as a jerkbait mainly. If the bite is really tough and slow ill go to a dead sticking method. They make a jr size as well.
