Like I told Stickling in PM, I was in the Navy 9yrs, 3yrs in the Reserves. I was a Hospital Corpsman Second Class Petty Officer(HM2/E5) when I got out. Did my duty in Great Lakes IL, Okinawa Japan, Camp Pendleton CA, Desert Storm front lines. Most of my Navy Career was spent with the Marines.
  2. Yes they are awesome, cause now you can fish those small lakes that you used to just cast from shore, or wanted to find out how big that one that jumped out in the middle really is. Wish I had one for all the big ponds with no boat access.

Stickling, I did my call of duty on the front lines in Desert Storm. So I don't need to play the game, I know what it's like to be shot at...lol Just a good thing the can't shoot straight. Someday I will check that game out...I enjoy games like that.

Nick, LOL...need some cheese to go with that whine? Go play your call of duty...lol. Who cares if it is the same score as last year. The point is...THE EAGLES LOST...LOL....and the PATS WON. Enjoyed the fun before the game ever got started...sure was a lot of ribbing going on, but in the end it went to the team who wanted it more. Always does, atleast it wasn't a BLOWout.
  9. Wow, that is a great thought on that, but no, I have never caught the same fish twice in one day.
  10. Lake Erie is where you want to go catch them at....if you find a good hole...average 4lbs....but I like Muskegon Lake, only cause I have a honey hole I can catch them all the time... ;D
  11. Thats for sure...got a pic up on the board that is well over 2 yrs old now. Had to rejoin...lol and start all over.

    HUMMMMM...just like I said they would...lol
  13. My all time faithfull lure is the baby torpedo. Then a purple finesse worm. This year might change to the Goby baits.
  14. I throw a finesse worm or lizard. Throw them on top of the pads and work it to a hole and let it drop...wait the slowly bring it in while stopping to let it fall to the bottom again.
  15. It might be too big for that lake too. All kinds of varibles for this subject, just keep trying different ways and you will find one that will work on that particular lake.
  16. an M80..lol that will bring them to the top of the water fast....jk I have heard you can thump them on the head a couple of times with weighted soft plastic and that will tick them off and bite at the bait too.
  17. Well we could invite him up for some cold fish and beer...lol
  18. Tritonman, Just remember to wear your glasses when trying to read them...we dont need to get lost down there...lol
  19. Walleye, bass, all pan fish. Oh heck, I will eat it all if it is on my plate, Fresh or Saltwater fish. Cooked or Raw...lol....with a big bowl of rice and some wasabe to put on it.... Dated a Japanese girl for three years when I lived in California... ;D
  20. Check out Deka Batteries..they last a long time on a charge. Or buy one of each...lol. I see there are a lot of good batteries listed on here...kinda like buying a boat huh? Squid
  21. Well maybe for the whole week it will be, with two big tournaments held that week. If ya can come down to watch it try to make it. I should have a booth there for the youth program and some product sponsor stuff....don't really know what Jim S. has planned for me that week, but I am fishing the weekend classic on Sun and Mon. I might be on the water with a video camera to get the weeknight classic on tape for him...nothing said yet..I don't think he knows how well I can steady a camera...lol....shake shake shake ....lol Where are you out of? What division?
  22. Well my turn I guess....lol. NBAA has 45 weeknight tournaments, and the cost is $40 a boat (if they get into big bass) $35 if not. Pay out at the ramp pays out 100% usually two spots with cash for 10 boats. There is a yearly memebership fee of $25/$60 for 3 years till April then it will go up to $30/$75 for 3years. We have 20 weekends and 1 Non-Profit kids trail. Nbaa is expanding into LA, TX and more all the time. Glad I am not the owner...lol. To grow from 40 division to over 65 as I write this in one year. So, does anyone besides me, think that one day team trails will offer some big money in the Future? Squid
  23. I agree with Shad-Master. Try another bait, but don't waste to much time in one location if in a tournament. I would also just slow troll right through it with the new bait, this way you aren't just sitting in one spot to much longer.
  24. Nice eye...lol...so what does the other one look like...lmao....I always feel like someone is watching me...lol..
  25. Well that makes me a great teacher then huh? The student is now better than the teacher....lol Just get ready to get your butt beat this year... ;D
