  7. It is and it isn't....depends on the area. If holding any kind of tournament that has a $ prize...most places require a permit. You need to call local DNR or some kind of Governing body and ask them about this question...each state runs thing differently.

  9. It is so awesome...You need to make a trip happen. You have no idea what it is really like untill you get out there and hammer fish after fish after fish. Then go home cause your wrist and arms hurt from catching so many smallies.
  10. Samething...Changed the name...they are also getting into Paintball and Dune riding things.....so now the SUM name
  11. I was wondering how many of you on here have a Save Phace Sport Utility Mask(SUM)(FISHHEDZ) to protect your face from the elements? 1. Do you wear it for every event? If not why? 2. Tell me what you like and/or dis-like about the mask? 3. What you do feel would be a reasonable price to pay for the plain colored masks? How much for the designed masks? 4. Why did you buy one? Be specific. 5. What would you like to see added to the product? 6. What would you like to see discontinued with the product? 7. Yes or No: Would you like to see some new designs on the masks? If yes, give some examples. 8. What State do you live in? Any info you can give me would be greatly appretiated. Thanks, Squid

  14. That was only 5.55lbs....someone else had one just a little bigger, but they were dq'd. This guy did lose one a lot bigger at the boat...that would have gone over 6. I would have liked to have seen that one weighed in.
  15. Wish this was mine....lol

  17. St Clair One on One Super Qualifier! Grubb dominates Field! With almost 20 boats and anglers competing in the first of three One on One Super Qualifiers on Lake St Clair Sunday, one angler stood out among the rest. Tony Grubb brought in an enormous bag of 5 giant smallmouths that topped the scales at 20.44 pounds beating out his nearest competitor by over 3 pounds. Tony's win was worth nearly $400, a plaque and much deserved bragging rights for the winner of the first ever One on One Super Qualifier. Second place and big bass went to Todd Steele with a weight of 17.42 and his big bass weighed in at 4.46 pounds. And rounding out the top 3 was Brian Ward. Brian's limit of smallmouths also went 17.42 but with the big bass tie breaker, Todd edge Brian out of second place. All of the St Clair anglers have now qualified to compete in the upcoming One on One championship on Gun Lake August 26 at Leaders Marine. We're taking the top 20 boats plus a wildcard from each of the three Super Qualifiers, plus divisional qualifiers to compete in this one day shootout championship. There will be an entry fee for the championship of $50 and this will include big bass. If you're interested in fishing the next One on One Super Qualifier it will be held on Muskegon Lake on July 15 launching out of Fisherman's Landing. For more information or questions please e-mail Jack Horning at jackhorning@sbcglobal.net and good fishing. To get the results, you will have to go to the webpage and readi from there. I can't get the results up on here: http://www.nbaabass.com/ Download: Tournament Results: 1on1_results_stclair_2007.pdf Want to be the first to know when an important announcement like this posts to the website? 19. Fishing for smallies is an ALL DAY rush...lol
  20. It was a blast. Thanks
  21. First you should contact some club out there to run it with you. This way the tournament is run correctly and you still can get something for your charity.
  22. Was on St Clair for 2 tournaments this weekend. 1st one, on Sat, was a 75 boat team tournament and tritonman and I did our personal best with just over 13 pounds. We caught 16 keepers, but most of them were just over 2lbrs. We caught them all on a popper, wackey, and tubes. Winning weight was just over 20lbs. The 2nd one, on Sun, was a 1 on 1 tournament with over 18 boats. I went out there and threw spinnerbait....maybe wrong color, wackey worm, and tubes. I had 7 good bites. I lost 2 3lbrs, cause my net man didn't know how to net them...lol. Before those 2 fish, I had a 14incher..just under 2lbs, and 1 over 3. Well when I got these two fish close to the boat, my net man hit the mouth of the 1st one and he came off the tube. The 2nd 3lbr shook itself off before the net could get under it. Even with my mistake netting I still came in with 5 and 14.63lbs. The winning weight for this one was 20.44lbs. He caught 12 keepers all day. Can you imagine netting all that by yourself...whew...that had to be fun....lol I did come in 6th with that weight, so I was very pleased with myself.
  23. Didn't he pick some of that up from the big E himself....The Intimidator....Mr get out of my way or I'll push you out. I like Gordon.....If ya like IKE you should like Gordon....lol Gordon can out right drive. AND yes....he is a BIG whiner...but I am a fan of his.
  24. Ok, so do we consistantly catch the fish from the back. Well last year I would say yes I was. Getting some of the to the boat was my fault. I lost some good ones. I also had hook set problems, but all my boaters had me on fish. Hope this is what you were asking.
