  1. According to spotrac, the cowboys will have 16M in cap space next season, which would have to be some serious maneuvering to not take a hit next season unless they give him a huge signing bonus which is still possible. and you are right about the cap money rolling over but it isn't added or counted twice, it is just room they have next season. As far as Sanchez goes, it must be depressing to know a rivals backup QB has more playoff wins than your starter but I guess that is the life of a Cowboys fan.
  2. I have never heard of a properly tied albright knot failing, until your post.
  3. The eagles do suck, they didn't make the playoffs so until they prove otherwise, i agree To me anything less than a super bowl is a bad season
  4. Dallas is stuck in salary cap hell really and mainly because of Romo and his deal. They keep restructuring which is fine short term but again next year his cap number increases 7M. They will have some room next season, I think around 25M if i remember right but the majority of that will go to dez if they keep him as i am sure he will want 20M per year....Jerry may good at running businesses but not at managing the cap lol As far as Murray goes he won't be required to shoulder the workload like he did in Dallas because Philly has a much more well rounded offense.
  5. Thanks for the offer. I will keep it in mind as we plan our week and let you know what times i may have free.
  6. i recently picked up the helix 5 SI for my kayak and it does a good job. Of course i would like a larger screen but it is what it is and i am happy with what i am using at this point and don't plan on upgrading any time soon.
  7. Dallas is going to have a real tough time replacing Murray and his huge role in last year's offense. Should be an interesting NFC east season for sure
  8. My son is just getting into the legos deal and builds some pretty cool things given he is only 5. We are actually going to Orlando and going to hit lego land, should be fun
  9. I think McCoy is still the best all around back in the league but Murray does fit the style of the Eagles offense better, especially with Sproles and Matthews in the fold. I hope Kiko can be what we saw his rookie year and if he is anywhere close to it, it will be a great trade. McCoy probably has 3-4 great years left and Kiko probably has 10 and finding a stud MLB is hard than a RB.
  10. Eagles have improved or stayed the same at every position except WR. And I actually think the WR position could be s surprisingly good unit. The secondary was upgraded a lot, which really wasn't that hard given they were historically bad. The key is going to be if Bradford can stay healthy. I do expect the defense to be one of the top in the league next season.
  11. if he hasn't i know i have. It is my goto fly really. It does surprisingly well for largemouth too

  13. makes it a little tough as a daily driver with 70 miles a day put on them lol now if i get an old TJ or YJ i just might go that route....
  14. It is crazy what they have done over the years wit hate Jeeps as far as tire clearance goes. My old 95 i had to put 3" of lift on to clear 33" and would still rub occasionally when wheeling. Now my 2012 wrangler came with 32.5"from the factory. Now I just need to save up about 5k to do everything that I want all at once from bumpers to fenders to tires and wheels...
  15. All I keep in mine is my phone. I only have one pocket on my PFD and i don't like lots of pockets. That's what i have a kayak for, to hold my stuff, the last thing i want is a bunch of stuff adding weight to my PFD. I do have good storage in my kayak though which is all easily accessed.
  16. too much line or he isn't getting out the slack before his first reel. I always manually close the bail while there is still a little tension on the line and no longer run into the line twist problem you are mentioning.
  17. Lake Rooty is pretty much dead from what i can tell and the last time I went out there i only caught some sunnies. There are other lakes in the Innsbrook area that still have some bass but they don't fish like they used to for sure. I was out at one of the ponds by East shore, down nuckols, and saw a guy with a small rubbermaid tote who had 4 good sized bass in there that were obviously dead. As i walked by i told him the lakes were catch and release only, which i believe they all are. I then mentioned it to a security guard who was there but by the time he got over to the guy, he was gone. Other options are wading areas of the south anna at the boat launches, which won't produce big fish necessarily but you can catch spotted bass, smallies and sunnies all day long pretty much. The river is also shallow enough that you can wade up or down river a good ways and make a solid half day out of it.
  18. I like the BFG AT's, one of the best long lasting tires out there. I had 50k on my last set before i sold the jeep and they still had at least 1/3 if not more tread left. I was looking at those Baja ATZs and they look good. I will be interested to hear your report after you have them for a while. I know the leveling kit isn't a bad install at all but when you go up 6" does it get more difficult since i think they have IFS? That is one thing I love about wranglers, they are still live axles so putting on a lift isn't that bad and with the coil springs introduced in the mid 90's it is even easier. I am debating on even putting on a lift at all because as it sits now if i go with flat fenders, which i want, i can go with 35s with zero lift. It has 33s stock now....
  19. what kind of truck? I hate swampers, i had them on my old jeep and they sucked. they were way too noisy, didn't perform as well offered as they looked like they should and broke apart on the road. I was glad i bought them on a good deal.... I am about to upgrade tires here on my wrangler here in the next 6 months and am debating on how big i should go...
  20. Emails can get lost or put in junk folders and with a business, you rarely if ever go into a junk folder. I have ordered plenty of jigs from him in the past and haven't had an issue. I do want to say that my PayPal didn't go through until he accepted the payment and made it a legit transaction though on one order i placed during one of the sales.
  21. the resort rents paddle boats and kayaks and has a dock so access shouldn't be an issue. I am going to call them this week though to make sure because it looks like i will be making a trip with the kayak and getting some early morning fishing in each day if possible.
  22. I think being a cyclist the circular pedal motion makes sense to me.
  23. never had much luck there myself either. Seems that the good areas are known to locals and they aren't to free about sharing info with the tourists. I did have some good luck in a few of the swaths and caught a few sea trout and pinfish on the fly rod.
  24. We are lucky in that there are a ton of good boats out there. I just went from a commander 120, which is an outstanding flat water boat and the standing ability is great, to an ATAK and so far so good. As far as standing goes, there are probably as many you can stand in as you can't. Right now is also probably the worst time to find one for a good price but coming soon, the new models will be coming out, demo boats will be available for sale and demo boats will come to market. I like to stand but with a raised seat position it isn't as big of a deal as it was when i was sitting flat on the bottom of the boat. I use it more now if I am flipping or punching (not that often), looking for longer casts for cranking or the most common reason, to take a leak or stretch my legs.
  25. not sure but were;t you posting about how awesome this job was and the opportunity it is giving in you and how yo are working hard and being rewarded? The grass isn't always greener elsewhere. I will tell you something that a manager i had when i was working at a fortune 500 company, never leave to get away from something, always leave to go to something....it is good advice and has served me well over the years.
