well to be fair taxmen do get huge and average 40lbs or so. My biggest browns i have caught are using mice flies and for bass i have done pretty well on frog and mice flies as well.

I am still pretty happy with my rage series rods and after using the veritas and mojo bass extensively i can safely say that the additional cost to go to the avid blank is worth it to me.

problem is that have no closer and other than his little slump he actually did ok. Personally i would find whoever is the worst team of the ones he can be traded to and send him there

i am always on my kayak by myself and if i am not fishing with friends i have the headphones in so i have no idea. I would guess any vibrations would intrigue them as they can feel it in their lateral lines and then when they investigate and see a huge floating thing above them would cause more fear than the vibration itself.

I am a rapala fan and they do use the extended treble on quite a few of their cranks. I am indifferent but i did have one break off when i was unhooking a fish so i guess it worked just long enough to get the bass to the boat

as much as i hate the yankees rivera was pretty much money all the time. He also kept louisville slugger in business for all the broken bats he caused. The other problem with papelbon is what i am going to call the RG3/me effect....you are told you are great for so long you start to believe it and slack off and become a ********* in the process. I actually liked the guy till he threw the team under the bus and then proceeded to blow those saves...same theory goes for Werth. One of my favorite players till he threw the phillies fans under the bus and went to chase money in Washington, which i can't blame him, but i will tell you that everyone loved Werth in philly and i was even yelled at by some phillies fans in DC when i was heckling the crap out of him in his first game back in washington after being on the IR for a while in 2012.

Not weird at all. People are very quick to want the lightest gear but without the appropriate rod the balance is off and that weight savings is pretty much worthless. Balanced set ups are very important in my mind.

I know they are shopping papelbon pretty hard....i am sure he is ticked for leaving over money when he could have had another WS ring. low 50's is feed bag time where i fish. And a senko under a bobber is not crazy and is along the same lines as the float & fly that is a tried and trued cold water technique. I saw a show where people were doing exactly what you said except they were fishing a little deeper.

Yeah i am psyched the phillies got marlin byrd and are going after starting pitching. I mean we all know the starting pitching is what held them back the last few years...... Rueben Amaro has single handedly destroyed this team...I love howard and how he never complains and always works hard but to give him that extension before his current contract was even close to being over was ridiculous. He has never gone after a bat other than some bums and let Pence and Victorino walk over not even that much cash, and don't even get me started on the bullpen or lack thereof.....

Best advice there is to try it yourself. Loading a boat is more about balance and technique than weight. CRVs aren't that tall, even with a rack so you should have no issues. I have a commander 120 and can load it on top of my 4 door wrangler without any issues and i am 5'11".

If you are looking for lakes then i would go hybrid. Wildy commander or native ultimate are both good open cockpit designs and are easier to stand in than any of the other boats you mentioned. Yes they are not self bailing but in smaller lakes that is not as big a concern. Both boats also have track systems built in that make rigging very easy for rod holders, fish finders etc... Also for a 1300 budget that will leave you plenty for the boat, paddle and PFD and any other rigging that is needed.

And Halladay will be retiring as a Blue Jay on Monday.....classy dude and great pitcher. I was really hoping he would give it one more whirl but i give him credit for hanging it up and not extended his careeer longer than he knows he should.

Yeah that game was pretty ridiculous and i am not sure what got into McCoy but I am not complaining. It amazes me all these teams that are so different at home or on the road aka seattle and New Orleans. It does look like the Saints have something figured out about the panthers go but there is a lot of football to play still and Cam is playing at a high level for sure.
