I moved from PA to Virginia and it is nuts. This year they have already cancelled school the night before a storm is supposed to hit and it never dropped one flake. I made the mistake of doing my normal food shopping the night before a storm and it was crazy. Funny thing is people's carts were filled with two things, frozen pizza and cheap beer. One positive is that the night of a snowstorm the bars were always fun and full of people no matter what night of the week

Jimmy Johnson I can agree with but Switzer, not so much. He was handed a Super Bowl winning team and won but did nothing after that. Either way that is two out of probably 10 others that were miserable failures.

Some of my most memorable days of fishing involved carp feeding on the top. Not sure what they were feeding on but they sure liked my parachute Adams being thrown on my 4wt. It was the only time I have ever had a fish go into my backing twice

Glad they made it right in your eyes. Did the ysay there were other problems or ask you send in your defective unit? Are they planning on fixing the issue on further sales? To me that is standing by their product. What they did is great but they need to fix the problem and not just throw some free baits and some cash people's way. Just imagine what could have happend if it was when you docked the boat at night.....you wake up in the middle of the night to see your boat in flames.

Old news i broke that junk way before ESPN Heard it on Philly sports radio..... I am not sure how i feel really. THe one plus is he has new ideas and the Eagles definitely have the offensive talent and speed to make it work but like i said before, I am not really as concerned with the offense as i am the defense. I also cannot think of one college coach with no NFL experience in the last 25 years who was succesful their first go around in the NFL. Guess time will tell

i don't throw SB that often but i do like my 6'8" MHF st croix rage series. I have the spinnerbait labeled mojo and it is to long for me at 7'MHF so i use that one for jigs and topwater buzz type frogs now. I prefer the slightly shorter length.

Yeah they do as long as Halladay gets it together this year. Nothing is more painful to watch than your starter throwing a nice game coming out in the 8th and seeing a lead disintegrate. I can't tell you how many directv remotes i replace during the baseball season....i actually go buy a few extra just to have on hand now

I have moved cross country twice and here is my advice. Figure out what you want to do for both a career and for fun. That for me narrowed it down to a half dozen places that i thought would fit the bill. I then planned a vacation to check stuff out in all the cities. It was more of a road trip really but it worked. I looked at all the neighborhoods while i visited as well as amenities etc... I then began my job search in those same cities while also researching all the crime rates etc....online. Once i had a few interviews i went ahead and travelled to the cities again (and was able to write off the expense for job searching) to do non-phone interviews. I then settled on a city that i had a job and had all the stuff i liked to do at the time. Now keep in mind it was just me and my now ex-wife so i didn't have kids or anything to worry about. If i was single it would have been even easier. Just don't do anything until you have a job lined up because nothing sucks worse than moving to a place and figuring it out when you get there....tried that once and it sucked.

The big thing i am watching for the phillies if their bullpen can hold a lead. I think last year their bullpen lost them 20+ games. Even if they win half of those games, which is pretty realistic, they would have been in the playoffs. Even with their bad bullpen it is going to be all about the offense for the phillies. I can only dream what that team would thev been like with the current pitching and the 2006-2010 offense they had.........

How do you guys know how deep your bait is running? I am assuming it is because you are hitting bottom of a known depth?

My buddy went to a gun show here in va this past weekend and they were out of a lot of the basic ammo too.....I am not a gun guy so not sure on specifics but I do know they were all price gouging like a SOB.

i would fish it too. I mean it can't hurt. And you guys are bring back old memories...i grew up in levittown and used to fish neshaminy creek all the time. Also do you mean that lake on Burlington Island on the map link he posted? If so, i haven't fished it but if you go for it i would check to see if you need a NJ license since it is technically on the jersey side and is landlocked. The Game wardens in Jersey are a pain in the butt the few times i have run into them.....

Technically it is only a dry spell for the Patriots for the Eagles it is wallowing around in mediocrity for as long as i can remember. Always the close but no cigar team......never able to be that one hot team, like the giants, who squeaks into the playoffs and wins it all.

He actually reminds me alot of Utley. Plays the game hard and for the entire career is pretty much an above average player but not HOF worthy. Although Utley has a better power surge than biggio....

Have you considered math class? The eagles superbowl was in 2004/2005 season so it has been almost 8 years. And for the record, if you think this is bad don't get me started on the cowboys, giants, mets or celtics :grin:
