Biggio was a classic compiler. He played at a decent level for a long time. .281 batting average, didn't really hit for power with 291 homers and 1100 RBI's. I also don't hold gold gloves as any value really since they are a popularity contest much like the all star game where a representative has to be sent from every team. I just never remember thinking to myself wow Biggio is awesome and the best 2nd baseman of his era. I also find it hard to say anyone who did not win at least one MVP to be inducted into the hall. Yeah i know the argument will be well the roid guys were winning them instead but that is not always the case. Sandberg also won an MVP and i would bet if you asked 100 people who would they rather have as their 2nd baseman biggio or sandberg the overwhelming response would be sandberg. Not trying to rip the guy to much but he is not HOF worthy in my opinion, let alone a first ballot guy.

Maybe the pats will tape the ravens walkthrough to get an advantage.....that might even up the playing field :respect-059:

This wasn't fishing but as i was rock climbing i got to the top of cliff and was going to top out and bring my partner up so we could eat lunch on top of the cliff. As i put my hands on the top and my eyes were just clearing the top i came face to face with 2 coiled up rattlesnakes. My face was about 8 inches from their head. Needless to say i jumped back and was lowered to the ground and we didn't eat lunch on top this day. I also have been climbing and reached into a crack and grabbed a bat.....that has happened more than once

Saw an article on ESPN where Biggio was complaining about how he should be in the hall of fame and not lumped together with the roid heads of his era. One thing is even being on the ballot is an honor so he should quit whining. Two he was a slightly above average player who was known more for wearing a huge elbow pad and leaning over the plate so he could get hit. He did play hard but I am not even convinced he should be in the hall and he probably got more votes because of the class he was in not the other way around.

I read an article that basically said stores won't be ordering ammo individually but due to the high demand and low supply due to everyone being fearful of their guns and ammo being taken away, orders will be done by the corporate offices.

Xrap shallow is more of a suspending jerkbait than a crank. I have a few and they work well. The key to any shallow cranking is to bang the bait off stuff. It could be tree limbs, docks, rocks etc....you want that deflection to trigger a good reaction strike. They are fun and you can cover some water with them for sure.

I have used it and caught a few fish but it was a bear to cast and got tangled pretty often. I thought of it as almost a drop shot style rig in a way since the crankbaits float and suspend off the bottom. I caught my fish by reeling super slow with occasional pauses.....good luck

I use a similar idea for my kayak. Seems pricey to me for what you get and not sure how easily you could push it in if the bottom was hard or rocky.

Billick would be good i think. They have a whole lot of talent on that team especially on offense. They really need a very strong defensive coordinator to go with billick and his offensive knowledge. The Eagles have no heart, it left when Jim Johnson passed away from cancer and then they didn't resign Dawkins.

You guessed it When you are an Eagles fan and the only time you can remember the Eagels making the superbowl happens to be against the Patriots who were busted for cheating i have a BIG chip on my shoulder Don't get me wrong, i would take brady on the Eagles in a second....

I will be anxious to see the AL east this year for sure. With toronto loading up and the orioles and their success last year it coudl make for a very interesting season from top to bottom in that division. I wouldn't be surprised one bit if every team is at or within a few games of .500 for the season.

I like the way the niners are playing for sure. Atlanta, who knows really. They probably have the most offensive talent out there of the teams that are left. I also think that win released a ton of pressure off Ryan so hopefully he can relax and just play football. I do like the niners though, By them putting the option in the gameplan land being uber succesful last week it is going to create a lot more for atlanta to prepare for in thise week's practice. Baltimore, not sure what to think other than i hope they win and knock out the patriots. I wouldn't even be that upset if Brady was knocked out of the game early I also agree that this game is going to be a whole lot closer than people think. The patriots have a way of intimidating teams but i don't think the Ravens care about that mess. They go out and play football and they play hard. Gonna be some good games for sure.

I was thinking a kayak. Way less hassle to unload and travel with and i would bet in a lake that size the amount of water covered in a given period of time woudl be about the same.

the thing about hte nationals is they had player have career years which is not to be expected every season. Now they do have some young talent that can improve but i am not 100% sold on them as of yet....they won the division when overall it was down year except for the braves. The phillies had their number the second half of the season. It is going to be a great season regardless though. I jsut hope the phillies can stay healthy.

So who is going to the Super Bowl? Looks like San Fran is giving 3 points and New England is giving anywhere from 7-9 points. I want to see San Fran Baltimore but not quite sure who I will actually pick to win. I don't think the cheatriots will blow out Baltimore though.

Are you sure there were fish on? To lose 25 is a lot. It may also be pickerel who tend to hit a bait on the side, chomp down then spin the prey to swallow. Makes it easy to miss them. I will also echo sharp hooks are very important and the slam it home hook set is not needed

Post front conditions are usually a difficult bite, at least for me they are. In general in that temp of water I am throwing reaction type baits and if that doesn't work I slow down and go with a bottom bouncer of some type.
