Keeping Electronics Connections Dry
Same thing really, right? I mean it will prevent corrosion which will in turn keep the connections cleaner and more standard. I would also bet that the problem isn't the connectors but that fuse. I had connectors left out in the bottom of my commander for years and never had an issue with the plugs into the unit. Can you pop the fuse open after use or move the location above the deck? You could also use a voltmeter and see art kind of voltage you are getting when it craps out both before and after the fuse to see if that is the culprit or if it is the plugs themselves

Keeping Electronics Connections Dry
Dialectric grease would be my best suggestion.

How do you use your Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Craw?
trailers of all kinds baits...the claw is the same as the horny toads too so they work in that way in a pinch. Who i use them as a buzz toad i will use a light keel weighted hook to help orient them and also allow it to function well as it drops into holes. I do pinch off everything but the claws.

Shallow Water Side Scan
wow that is crazy you can't adjust. HM has an auto setting but it is ridiculously fast. Lowrance is now officially off any electronics upgrade list for me lol

Shallow Water Side Scan
I completely disagree. Sidescan is best when your chart speed matches your boat speed. I get plenty clear images on my kayak and i never go 5mph. I actually have my chart speed a little faster than my normal paddle speed becasue it helps to clean up the image so to speak. This is on humminbird first gen helix unit

Smallest insects
I have caught some pretty decent sized bass on my 4wt fly fishing using a slow sinking spider that is no more than an inch long. I think it boils down to ease of eating and proximity. if i let a slow sinking spider drop right in front of a largemouths nose where they literally just have to open their mouth, the effort expended isn't much and they get a little snack.

Thinner line can be cast further?
I am no physics whiz but wouldn't a lighter line used on a bait caster not provide the same rotational force as a heavier line thus potentially decreasing distance? I mean it makes sense in my head at least lol

Flying Lures
i would call the banjo minnow more of a rigging design than a soft plastic. There are flukes of every shape and size but it was the nose hooking that was different. I nose hook plastics all the time and even use small keeper screw locks to hook through pretty often too. I am pretty sure the original designer of the banjo minnow is the same guy who does those Capt'n Ken Frogs that use a similar hooking method.

Opinions on Robalo
We are already seeing it in the kayak world but the prices are not that great because there are not many new boats being shipped out.

Who still uses a Non-Slip Loop Knot?
I think you have that backwards. The perfection loop is a pretty weak loop knot at like 40-50% and most tests have the rapala as the highest loop knot.

Best States/Regions for Kayak Anglers
I grew up outside philly and other than driving to fish the river or head out to the susky, lake fishing was pretty slim. I have since moved down to central VA and it is pretty solid for kayak anglers. Other than multiple rivers/creeks you have probably 50 electric only or HP restricted lakes within 50 miles of richmond. I catch my fair share of citation sized bass each year, 22" and at a multitude of places. Not sure what you do for work but there is a decent economy here too.

New name for the local NFL Team
It is interesting how many people poke at those who are offended with their comments yet obviously they are the ones offended in the first place...the double standard is both predictable and sad all at once.

New name for the local NFL Team
not even in DC though.....they even kicked them out

Need guidance for buying a fishing kayak
Radar will give you the most flexibility as far as propulsion options as you can add in a motor or pedals at a later time. I have not paddled the bonafide but i know i see a lot for sale on the used market and nearly everyone says you have to add on their skegs or a rudder, that is a bad sign to me but it seems like they have a cult like following much like jackson does. Not necessarily a bad thing but gotta take it all with a grain of salt I guess. I would get out and paddle what you can and go from there. I have an ATAK 140 and in my 15+ years of fishing out of a kayak it is my favorite one. It is as stable as any boat i have been in and doesn't get blown around by the wind as bad as other boats. After having the boat for 5 years or so the seat is getting worn out but that is normal. I will be adding a motor to it as well to facilitate solo river shuttles if you will. It isn't the most maneuverable boat but it does fine, just not as quick as some of the other boats I have owned. I'll take that tradeoff for not needing a rudder and being able to maintain a 3+MPH speed with minimal effort. Lots of good boats out there right now for sure.....when you do rig the boat, don't do it based on what you saw on youtube or a message board or what you think you will need. Paddle it a few times and see what you want and where. Even on my attack i went out 3-4 times before i started mounting things.

New name for the local NFL Team
some realtor in the DC area bout up the TM for any name he could think of so if they want one of those, Snyder is gonna have to pay for it too

boat bogging down
i'd have to agree with MN fisher. Motors need three things, fuel spark and air. If it changes when you force the fuel in that would be my first place to look.

New name for the local NFL Team
They have been trash for so long anyways this might be what they need to bring themselves around. Combine this with all the other allegations there and they are making the Cowboys look like a well run organization.......and that is saying something.

Big bass only
Seems like a dumb concept to expect a DD bass in a timed tournament. I could see a one bass tourney basically. Biggest fish wins, plain and simple. it would change the strategy of many for sure.

Another senseless tragedy
and he managed all that in less than 25 years on this Earth....somewhat impressive

Another senseless tragedy
i thought it said 230 felony charges but like 15 arrests or something, still a lot but not as exciting to report about. Whole situation is crazy. i have seen some reports saying they knew each other before and it was something about a truck sale or part or something so who knows. Sad situation for sure....

Fly tying....getting back into it.
I was starting to tie and my 4 year old decided to help guide my decisions and what to put where.....has the traditional clown pattern that I know I have caught fish on with jerk baits in this color.

Popping or regular frog...
I willl use a popping frog until conditions dictate I don't. Usually it is when the areas have grass or lilly pads that are sticking up too high for the frog to work effectively. Walking either style isn't an issue.

Another senseless tragedy
Sad situation. I will be curious to see what comes out of it all. It seems that "random" killings like this are rarely random.

MADE IN THE USA
Not an issue to me at all. They are responsible for a whole lot more than the low man on the totem pole and are not easily replaced. You can replace people low in the pecking order pretty easily. CEO searches take a long time and their decisions, depending on the size of the company, can impact thousands of employees and customers.
