A Firetiger inline spinner with a gold blade is my go to bait for trout on overcast days. I could be wrong but I would think it would be a good color anytime you'd throw something chartreuse. Those bright colors really stand out in murky water.

Awesome! I saw a couple bass on a bed today as well. Threw a couple different baits at them with no such luck. They would spook really easily, swim off, and come back about 30-45 seconds later. Congrats on a great fish!

I always fish from the bank. Spinnerbaits, squarebill cranks, and Texas Rigged soft plastics are my bread and butter. Add some topwaters and some jigs and you should be good to go.

I just bought the Black Max Combo. Still getting used to using a baitcaster but I'm liking it. Only $70 at WalMart. It's a medium 6'6'' rod.

At least you gave it a shot. I guess its not for everyone. Lot's of other good shows suggested. You ever watch Pawn Stars on the History Channel? I think that should be on Nexflix.

The weight of the lure should depend on your rod. Often the lure weights your rod is rated for are printed on the rod itself but I have an old Ugly Stick and I don't think this is the case with them. If its not on the rod, I'd try and look up your rod on the Shakespeare website and see if it has lure weights listed for it. Or possibly others could tell you another way to figure it out but this is what I would do.

Awesome video! I want one! With that thing, I'd be the coolest guy on the water even if I didn't catch any fish! No way I could afford it at the moment though. Maybe I can convince my parents and grandparents to pitch in and call it my next 20 birthday and Christmas Presents. Or someone on here could donate their Pro Angler to a good cause.

Better get this in before some of you other guys post yours and put mine to shame. These 2 were about the same size. Between 2.5 and 3 lbs. The first one came on a Rapala Shallow Shad Rap in Shad color and was caught on a shallow flat right up against the bank. The second came on a 3/8 oz. Strike King Spinnerbait in Gold/Red and was caught off of a log along side a big patch of lily pads.

It only really has 2 compartments. The inside can hold 3 360 Plano boxes (pretty sure they're 360's) and you could probably cram as many as 8-10 bags of plastics in the front zipper pocket. I don't use it though. If packed with all this stuff, it leaves 0 room for anything else. No needle nose pliers, no scale, no camera, no hooks or sinkers (unless you have them in one of your Plano boxes). I've thought about just using it for soft plastics which would leave me more room in my tackle bag for my hard baits. It's ok I guess for just a quick hour or 2 trip bank fishing but if you have a lot of stuff, you might want to look at something a bit bigger. But then again, you might be ok with it. Being small, it will limit what you carry and you won't be lugging 20 pounds of gear around with you.

Amen brother. I'm with you 100% on that one.

I wouldn't call it a career but I'm a delivery driver for Domino's. It's hell on my car and I have good days and bad days as far as tips go but I can honestly say its the only job I've ever had that I actually enjoy. Plus I work all night shifts so I'm able to stay up for a couple hours after I get off, fish in the morning, then come home and catch a couple hours of sleep before going into work again.

Not possible unless the fish was able to cross about 30 yards of dry land from the lake to the parking lot. Maybe it was people, maybe it was a bird. Either way, I did my good deed for the day. I can only hope. It would definitely be nice.

What's wrong with kids these days? A lot. I know I'm only 28 but over the last 10 or 15 years, it seems like its really been going downhill. Or maybe I just got older/more mature and started to notice it more. At any rate I never acted the way I see a lot of kids acting today. I guess their parents just didn't raise them right. That's messed up what happened with the fish. Completely pointless and uncalled for. Hopefully the DEC guy calls you back and something gets done about it.
