  1. Good looking fish! I gotta find some water around here that holds smallies.
  2. Nothing wrong with a 4lb fish. Heck, I don't mind the 2's and 3's either. Nice smallie...congrats!
  3. Congrats man...awesome fish!
  4. Welcome to BR!
  5. Hello and welcome!
  6. Not too shabby...nice fish! Congrats! And I'd also like to say thank you to everyone on here. I just started at the end of last summer and I know I have a long way to go but I feel like I've learned so much in the past several months. Thank You Bass Resource Mods/Members!
  7. I went out too. Got to the lake around 5:15 am. Expected the sun to rise at 6 and warm things up a bit so I just wore shorts, a t-shirt and a light hoodie. Big mistake. It stayed cloudy and like you said the wind was terrible. The bite was slow and the wind was relentless so after about an hour and a half I decided to call it a day.
  8. That's a nice pickerel you got there!
  9. X's 2 on this. Happy birthday Sam!
  10. Nice fish! Whenever I catch a trout I'm always surprised by the fight the have in them. Especially those big browns.
  11. Awesome! Those big picks put up a heck of a fight.
  12. Congrats on getting better and the nice fish!
  13. Welcome to BR!
  14. Hello and welcome!
  15. Welcome! I'm over here in Caroline County but I know there are a lot of Western Maryland guys on here. Check out the 'Maryland Who's Who' thread in the Northeast section.
  16. Welcome to BR!
  17. Nice catfish! I know they're in the lakes I fish but I have yet to catch one.
  18. Welcome to BR!
  19. Very interesting. Would have preferred it if there were a big fat momma bass sitting there but its good to know what I should be looking for. Thank you sir.
  20. Thanks Tom. As for the size, it was about a foot and a half, maybe 2 feet in diameter. And I do always see a couple heron walking around in the shallows.
  21. Hello and welcome to BR!
  22. Nice! I had a small bluegill take a swipe at my crankbait today right at the bank. He couldn't have been much more than 2 inches bigger than the bait. Didn't hook him but he was an ambitious little guy.
  23. PapaJoe gave you good advice. Aside from that, if you remember the brands/models, you can look them up on the BPS or *** website. They should have the diving depth listed.
