Congrats! A buddy of mine won a tournament last week with a squarebill. He caught a 5 pounder, a 4, and a couple 2.5-3's. He won lunker too. The other's guys fish didn't even come close. I haven't caught any on squarebills so far this year but I did really well on them this past fall. They're my favorite way to fish.

I understand you guys not liking chain pizza and I actually prefer family run pizzerias myself but since I work for Dominos and it's free, its what I eat most of time. But working there affords me the opportunity to try new pizzas and different combinations that I probably would have never tried otherwise. Never would have tried a buffalo chicken pizza on my own but man Is it good. Lately I've been making Brooklyn styles with light, light, hardly any sauce and extra, extra mozzarella/provolone. I also like to do the Brooklyn with pepperoni, salami, sliced sausage, diced tomatoes and extra provolone. If I'm not working and want pizza (which isn't often since I work/eat Dominos 6 days a week), there's a place that just opened up around the corner that's really good. Brooklyn style pizza, sold by the slice, with Italian speaking family in the kitchen. The pizzas are huge too. The slices are almost the size of a plastic lunch tray and you can get 2 slices and a soda for 5 bucks. They also have awesome cheesesteaks and meatball subs.

I only recently started watching fishing shows on TV and I'm new to the whole pros/tournaments thing but from what I've seen I like Ish Monroe. But is it just me or do the other guys seem like they talk a lot of crap about him. I'm pretty sure I heard a couple of snippety little comments made but I suppose it could be all in good fun and competitive sportsmanship.

For me, I'd guesstimate 20 or 30 yards. I'd think that would probably be about the average but I could be way off base there.

Anyone watch the season premier of River Monsters Sunday? Jeremy Wade got one treble in his thumb and had a piranha hanging off the other end.

I do exactly this. Same baits, same gear ratio. All day long. And X's 2 on erratic retrieves if there's no cover to bang off of.
