  1. Caught this pickerel in a tournament on thursday... On a watermelon tube... It was actually pretty frustrating, we caught our limit on smallies early then spent the rest of the day trying to get a kicker largemouth... All we got were pickerel, saw a few 2 poundish ones spawning but couldn't get them to strike...
  2. And to think I have a few more months til I can go back down their... Sweet fish by the way!
  3. We were nailing them on their beds, throwing tubes...
  4. Super fun day, don't know what place we got yet but our bag was 7.3 pounds and the winner was a 12.4 bag.... We could have upgraded or smallies but went for a kicker largie at the end of the day... I got a big pickerel and my partner hooked a 5 pound lake trout but lost him at ther boat, definatley planning on fishing more tournerys in the future...
  5. Super fun day on Winni, our captain had a brand new skeeter with 10ft power poles... We hit the graveyard in the morning and quickly filled our limit.... All smallies 2# range like a 2lbs 5oz, 2lbs 1 oz, and some high 1 pounders... After that we wanted to get a kicker largemouth, didn't see any largies spawning and didn't have any luck. Our Final weight for our 4 fish was 7.3 pounds... There was 60 teams I think and I don't know what place we got yet, I believe the winner got a 12.4pound bag..... My partner hooked into a 5# laker but got off at the boat, and I got a big pickerel which cut up my hand... Hope to fish more tourneys and that it will be held again next year.... Here are some pics...
  6. Up nice and early!!! ~I'll post results tonight...
  7. Not that catching all of those beasts at the same place wouldn't be rewarding, but catching them in three different places is even more impressive! (Assuming those were'nt caught in Milford right, I know Osgood Pond held some really good fish but other than that pretty much garbage...) Keep on them....
  8. Can't wait! Hope the weather holds up, we catch a few fish, and have a good time... ~Thanks
