I briefly mentioned it but didn't get into detail with it. As for revo 3s, they're horrible after a month but I've had my bb1 and tp since December and they still are perfect

Where I am, every pond I know of holds bass. The drainage ponds around here have them but are fenced off and aren't fishable. Same goes for the golf course ponds as well

I'd stay away from abu, my gen 3 revo winch gave me issues and same with my friends stx. I suggest looking at the new daiwa tatula coming out soon, another lews tp or the chronarch.

Anyone know if the lews carbon handle will fit a shimano core or the daiwa zillion type r handle? If not is there anywhere in the US that I can purchase a bent carbon handle? Looking for one besides a hawgtech.

As far as hardest fighting IMO it would be the smallmouth bass followed by spotted bass then largemouth. As for the elusive spooted bass they fight so hard that they will always break your line.

Here's a few jigs I have made recently. There's flipping jigs, Arkie jigs and finesse jigs. All are made with living rubber(fine rubber on finesse jigs) mustad ultra point hooks and tied with wire. Opinions on them/anything i should fix?sorry for bad quality, the picture was taken on an iPad

My two worst moments are when I lost a 7-8lber during a tournament on a swimbait and I had a 5lber snap my line during the california high school state championship. I got 3rd but I was only off by 1lb from 2nd place, so I would've had 2nd easily.

Most expensive lure was a super spook which is about $7, but I have chucked my revo winch gen3 into a private pond which is $200. The d@#n thing couldn't cast a 1/2 swim jig 20 feet and eventually got ticked enough to pull it off my rod and throw it in. Sad part is that it was a month old and was imo a complete piece of **** of a reel. Don't plan on doing anything close to that again, unless I buy another abu garcia reel.

A similar thing happened to me. I was on the Delta about a week ago and watched 3 jets do stunts, the jets were navy blue and red but I couldn't figure out who they were. Anyways they did barrel rolls, flips, let smoke out of the jet and all sorts of cool stuff for about 45 minutes. I was distracted from fishing the whole time and ended up missing a lot of bites

my area, it's not too uncommon with all the drownings and things like that. And in the delta out here I hear about one being found every so often.

Went to the delta today and killed them on a drop shot roboworm in morning dawn and a fire tiger speed trap fishing in Mildred and lost isle

I'd say for the price of the sx, get the lews bb1 instead. It's one hell of a reel, I can launch senkos a country mile and I have one on my swimbait rod as well and it can throw hudds pretty d*** far. It never backlashes on me either, when tuned right to the bait I'm throwing I don't even have to use my thumb to stop it

Cranking a speed trap and hooked a dead body, or more like the guys hat and some flesh on my treble. It scared the living s**t out of me. Oh and the same day caught a catfish on topwater

Btw that senko isn't too big on the delta, it's a bit small, the 6" and 7" ones will catch 1 1/2-6+ lbers all day long, also I recommend tnt baits Wadda jig in 1/2 oz in brown. It's unbeatable there

Those two are completely killer on the delta, wacky rig that senko and its the right color and bump the speed trap on the tules and there's a 99% chance you will catch something, let the senko fall weightless and twitch it a few times, then reel up and move to a new spot to cast

the 10+ lber caught on the st croix rod right, on a s waver or something

Took a quarter, drilled holes on each side, added a split ring and a treble hook and jigged it like a spoon and caught a spot on it

Btw I had my tournament pro and I out casted my friend that had a chronarch with a 3/8 oz jig and a trailer with my 1/4 oz jig without a trailer by at least 20 feet. It stunned me how amazing the reel is

Fished the stx and winch as well as a tp, honestly I hated the stx and winch so I sold them off, they just aren't worth the money, I'd pay about $100 for them if that. My lews on the other hand is light, smooth, casts a 1/8 oz Texas rigged 4 inch worm for what seems like a mile. I even have a core and I'd put my tp up there with it. I pretty much only fish lews bb1's, tournament pros and shimano cores. Not a fan of a chronarch either

Hands down the best is the TNT baits claymore jig. Look them up
