A buddy was telling me Boca Bearings sells a soak for bearing cleaning. They have a good reputation that might be something to look into??? I tried using simple green once in my ultrasonic, idk the bearings didn’t feel right. Had to re soak em in alcohol to free em up. Felt like it made them sticky or something??? This was before Perfect solution came around.

Exceler is nothing to sneez at if that’s your budget. The entire LT line is excellent! If your fishing salt and/or brackish water the Fuego might be worth it.

Little update if anyone is interested.. so I bought a Tatula 721MHXS to check out. It feels great especially for the $100 that I paid. However the other 2 models I need I wasn’t digging their specs. So selling this to a friend. One local store had a elite in stock. Wow theyre Light! Lol so I bit the bullet and ordered the 3 Tatula Elites without the AGS. Drop Shot is getting a 2500 LT, Shaky Head and Swimbait models a 3000 LT each. Also, During the search came across some insane deals on a Fuego and Exceler rod. So grabbed those and paired each with a Exceler and Fuego LT. Will be great for the wife to use and keep in the boat as emergency back ups for tourneys. mission complete

Super light if I’m targeting bass suspended and want them to hit it on the fall. Otherwise 3/16oz for 1-10FOW 3/8oz for 10FOW plus. I’ve drop shot as deep as 50FOW. 3/8oz is also pretty solid in tidal current.

O rings they sell at TW DSG etc are the size for senkos. What size and from where for smaller diameter worms. Unless I’m missing something none of the stores list sizes.... thanks for input

No experience with a CURADO K... with that said, you owe it to yourself to try a SV reel it’s a different animal than the CT. Wether it’s the Zillion or Tatula. They perform excellent from light finesse stuff to cranking 10XDs.

For the amount of snags you get while cranking then having to worry about a leader knot failing is why I strongly suggest going straight Fluoro. There’s a lot of guys that go straight mono too. I’m just bias towards FC. Idk I wouldn’t go braid to leader with cranks.... Lipless on the other hand I could see going straight braid and no leader rippin it through heavy veggies.

Had a couple spools of 40lb J Braid that came with some of my Tats. Wasnt bad at all, just don’t use 40 often. Typically 10lb, 30lb and 60lb
