If they had one fish then I would be worried . At zero fish ,like Montanaro said , there is a good chance they are out of cel phone reach . I have Defoe and my fingers crossed hoping that is the case . As I was typing this DeFoe just checked in with one but its a three and a half lber .

Might try a marabou jig used for crappie fishing . Just try to catch some panfish and you might find what you seek .

Pauliniuk Defoe Combs Bertrand Hartman What is happening ?I saw bugs flying yesterday .At first I thought they were those dang floaters .A colonoscopy is a piece of cake compared to some of the other stuff I have had .Hank 1 , Waylon , Willie and the boys , Statler Bros , the man in black ... I like old stuff. A lot of the Beatles , Eagles , Skynard , Allman Bros have a country sound that I like .I got my fantasy picks in . Some people have some kind of basketball bracket going . Whats up with that ?The further north you go the more seasonal lures play into it . You being from Texas , not so much .I usually drive 5 to 50 miles . My most frequent spot is a 200 acre lake 30 miles away where the Conservation dept supplies 14 foot jon boats for free . I am set up to fish local waters fast .A canoe for the streams , a plastic boat with built in wheels for small bodies with difficult access , Portable depth finder and trolling motor for lakes with rentals and my wifes deck boat for the big lake . I slapped an 85 lb thrust trolling motor on it , two depth finders , butt seat and it has a livewell . The front half is mine , the back half hers .Give us a description of the type of water you are fishing and are you fishing from shore or boat ? From bank , I dont bog myself down . One rod and a few lures. I usually make a couple cast move a couple of steps and repeat.I worked with a guy who was trying to get into bass fishing and he just gave up . He bought a boat , rods reel lures and expected to have success . He would complain to me that he is fishing where the bass are suppose to be , with the correct lures and getting skunked . He just wasnt cut out for bass fishing . I would say that more times than not , the bass are not behaving the way I suspect them to be . Connecting the dots to try and figure it out is fun to some people but not others . I love it .I might not get any work done Friday .Makes sense . After all depth finders pickup air bubbles rising to the surface . Now thats a signal that confused me for awhile .
