I just invented the clip tail worm. I took a Jelly Worm and clipped part of the tail off. Thus a clip tail. It works great for finnicky fish. You can fish it on a Wacky rig , or a drop shot rig , or a texas rig , or a carolina rig , it can even be fished on the Bull dog rig and the bull dog rig hasnt even been invented yet .

So if I cut part of a Mister Twister Phenom off , I would have a cut tail ? Why ?

In general . Bass pro makes some and they looks like a factory defects .

They look like curl tails with the curl cut off. Whats the point ?

I do the opposite. Larger blades in spring small blades in summer .

I put high speed gears and gator Grip handles on my 5000's .

I hold the rod in front of the reel with the line running between the thumb and index finger. I have always done it like this and am not going to change. When I set the hook with braid it cuts deeply into my finger. I know I am doing it wrong and should let go but thats just the way it is .LOL

These were both good partners . Years ago I drew a partner for a small one day tournament who had his neck fused together . He could not move it at all. He had one "Fishin pole" a spincaster with about twenty foot of line that he could not cast and maybe two lures.It was early in the year and cold . I caught a keeper on a jig and pig and loaned him one. He could not cast it so he imitated me the best he could , lifting and dropping the lure straight up and down directly under the boat. We were in shallow water and he caught four keepers and won the tourney. I tried copying him but could not catch a fish. I drew another partner who only had one arm.His other arm was like a pair pliers, great for gripping fish. This was his first tourney also. We were coming upon a stump that I have caught nice fish on before , I positioned the boat so he could get a good cast. He was using a bagleys crankbait and made a perfect cast. A few turns of the reel handle and he says "I'm snagged". I could see his line moving off and told him he had a huge fish.He landed that fish like a pro and with the help of a couple of barely legal fish , he won that tourney. I have a picture of the most proud guy in the world that day.

Lifting big fish. Is that how you work out ?

Late fall is good for quantity and quality . Lakes with slot limits encourage harvest of small bass and I take advantage . These fish caught on shallow diving Rogers big Jim Cranbait.

I use an iron plate that I picked up along the railroad tracks. They are free.

I just use the timer and mount the camera on a little flexible tripod. Ive had Cannon and Olympus and they both worked well .

I cant use braid and didnt like the fluorocarbon that I tried. All my fishin is done with mono .

I dont know the answer but I catch a lot of bass with holes in there lips .

I fish a 200 acre lake often . Some bass spawn on the flats leading into the coves, in the rear of the coves , in the middle of the coves, main lake ,even on stumps and riprap too. They spawn all over.
