  1. I've never had a problem with the Micro Guide series. Seems like everyone has trouble with the regular Wild series.
  2. http://www.allfishingbuy.com/Fishing-Rods-Power.htm
  3. I got the same one a few months ago and really like it. I like being able to quickly weigh fish without having to get my digital scale out.
  4. Big Bite YoDaddy is my confidence craw.
  5. I got myself pretty good last fall trying to remove a red eye shad from a dink that decided to start flopping around on me right as I grabbed the treble.

I'll cut the skirt just below the hook and then trim the sides up on a 45* angle. I like to use a yo daddy craw as a trailer. I'd use any craw you have confidence in though.
  7. Sunline Shooter and Berkley 100%
  8. I would agree with those that said toothpicks or skirt material for the cheapest. My personal favorite are the 6th sense peg x stoppers.
  9. Here is a pic from a site that I believe takes good actual pics and not just pics sent from the distributors website.
  10. I bet with many companies having a flat rate shipping contract/fee is why they did that. On the other hand, you'd have to believe the padded envelope would still be cheaper to ship than a box.
  11. A few fish I have caught in the main waters I fish have had the same leech looking thing in their mouth. Always on an old hook tear/scar in the mouth. I always pick them off. I started to wonder though, since it's on a wound, is it helping clean/heal the wound or hurt it. Maybe someone will have more insight. Great post Diggy, I'm very curious on the matter.
  12. Most collegiate bass teams are clubs that are recognized by the school but, they're not funded by the school. Usually it's free or you pay a small fee to join the club. Some colleges are starting to recognize bass fishing as a school sport now and are actually giving scholarships if you are good, just depends on the college. As far as collegiate clubs go, it really helps if you have a boat or have access to a boat.
  13. Sorry for the repost, yall can delete this one.
  14. I use a float tube for trout fishing on small lakes. Like flyfisher said, its a lot of fun when you hook a big one and let them pull you around. I have an Outcast Super Fat Cat. I really love this tube, very comfortable and keeps you up out of the water and it has a v-shaped nose that help you get around a little easier. Fighting the wind is a little tough though.
  15. Probably old news but I didn't see any posts about it. I figured I would share for some people who haven't heard/seen about Iaconelli's crash.
  16. I didn't buy it as spare but, I bought a 200a calais spool to replace one for a 200asv.
  17. My 7'11" H-MF veritas flipping stick might be coming out of retirement and converted to a giant crank rod. I knew I held onto it for a reason...
  18. I'd say that would be a perfect worm setup for throwing what you mentioned. As far as brands go, I would say it's a personal preference. It all depends on how much money you want to spend.

Occasionally I'll use the original scent megastrike. If the bait already comes pre-scented, I usually don't add anything unless I dip the tip in some jj's magic.
  20. x2, this is what I use for both of my spinning setups and they are extremely light.
  21. Holy crap, thats a lot of jigs!
  22. Very nice. To make that scale effect, is there an adhesive pattern that you stick on or do you lay a piece of mesh net or something over the bait? Pics of one from start to finish would be pretty cool.
  23. That's a really nice sized spot, the Tx state record is 5.62. Congrats on the boat and the fish!
